Mafuyu had held her breath. She was angry, couldn't breathe.  She had to do something to get this feeling off her chest. Grabbing scissors from her table, she snipped her hair down to just below the shoulders, purple hair all over the floor. Clipping it up, she got dressed. Sure, she came back from school, sure, it was raining, but Mafuyu couldn't take it.

She got dressed in a jogger suit, grabbed her phone & umbrella, & stormed out of her room.

The rain was cold, the air misty. Mafuyu had felt a feeling of aliveness under this downpour. She started running, without even propping out her umbrella, & ran till she couldn't anymore.

She stopped at a random bench, threw herself down, & started crying uncontrollably, head in her hands.  Her phone started ringing, it was her mom. Ignoring the call, she cried more & more.

She threw the umbrella down, & sighed in frustration.
