Days passed in Story Brook, and the town went back to their daily uneventful lives of normalcy. Except for our dimension-hopping friends. "Ben!, did you leave the stove on again?!" an argument ensues between them for the tenth time that week. They're so loud that the other tenants in the apartment complex are starting to get annoyed. "Oh come on man, relax, I said I was sorry right?" was Ben's reply. "Sorry?" "we'll I'm sorry but I cannot risk the house burning down" "Pahh, you're just worried about the gas bill, don't we have infinite money from the plumbers" "It's a finite resource only to be used in emergencies". "Yeah, but you have that new job at the dinner right? The one with that girl, what was it again?" "Ruby" Rook finished his sentence, "Yeah that" "I bet you guys are smitten, huh," Ben said with a playful expression, making Rook look away in annoyance. "she is a fellow co-worker, so that would immoral and against the professional guidelines". "aw man, you are so lame, dude". " Rook smiles at this with an evil expression "Well, for now, this lame dude as you call it, is the only person getting income in this house" . He said rather confidently earning a white flag from Ben "alright, alright you got me," Ben said the last part with a yawn as he scratches his but. Making Rooks's eye twitch with annoyance. " well as we agreed, as I'm working, you gather intel on the way out of this town and the whereabouts of our family and friends" this makes ben stop in his tracks and look on with a sudden seriousness at the situation therein. " yeah of course man," he said with no room for jokes surprising Rook on his way out. (well I guess he can get serious when he needs to be) was Rooks thought with a smile? As the door closed Ben got ready to start the day, he ate breakfast, took a shower, and got dressed in the usual clothing he got when they first landed. "we really need to buy new clothes" Ben thought internally with a sweat drop. Ben to left the house but unannounced to both of them, there lies another, a person listening in on them from another room. This person is nonother than Sidney, Regina's number one fanboy and reporter. he has been listening intently to their entire vonvo and has been rocoring all that was said on the other Room. Apparently he has wire tapped there room with instruction and Ok from the maror. Ben has had a sneaking supecion that he was being watched but he thoguht nothing of it. He wackes around for any intell on how to get out but everyone jhust looks at him likes hes creazy again, "so that scraatches that idea. He says out loud to him self. " its no use" was another repsonse from a lighter voice. this sjhockes Ben and makes him do a one eighty at who it was, "they will always think you crazy thats what the curse does to them" was all that the voy said "henry ?" Ben says with a nervous glance. "I can tell you guys are trying to leave town buts it's impossible, once your int, it's impossible to get out unless its wants you" This earned another suspeiousous glance from Ben. Coincidently ben stumbbled to Henrys school by chance orr rather just out side of it. "what do you mean" was all that been could say before he was pulled away by marry margrett. She wquickly says "sorry he has an over active imagincation" "oh its okay" Ben nurviously says as he scratches the back of his head. She than takes him in the school before more could be said "what did i tell you about thaking about that stuff with strangers" marry told the boy as he protests her assumptioons. As they leave the scene Ben glanced at where the boy was sitting and saw a suspicious piece of paper that read (Meet me at the dinner- 4:00 PM, I have something important to tell you.
"Looks like I'll find something after all". Ben said with a smile.
