Regina thought for a moment after Ben said these words (whether you are a villain or not people can change) she pondered this sentence as she went over the many experiences she had in life as the evil queen. Killing many who opposed her, was ridiculed and betrayed countless times by her closest friends, and had many encounters with villains who only wished to use her for their gain. Thinking back not once has a person told her that she could change, at least not truly. ( just who is his guy) Regina ponders again with agitation. Seeing this Ben smiles knowingly "All alright that's enough eggs for now I got what I wanted so I'll head out" "W-wait!" Regina demanded halting Ben in his tracks as he got up before chewing his last bite. "Hmm what's up," Ben asked annoying Regina for the tenth time that night. "What's up? You can't just walk out in the middle of our conversation!" Regina said a tic Mark growing on her forehead. Not many people disrespect her since they would like to carry on with their lives and reputations intact, but then again Ben isn't like most people. "Oh right I'm sorry guys, but I gotta cut this talk short, I'm just going to this shop I heard about in town"( I'm gonna see if I can gather more answers about this town and how we got here) Ben thought to himself with a nervous laugh. "Shop?, you don't mean that shop right" This got Rooks's attention, he hadn't known her for long but he knew she had a confident exterior and if she was nervous it must be serious. What, what's wrong with this shop? "The young boy steps in telling Ben the seriousness of what he's attempting. He whispers "Mister Gold is bad news, his even worse than the evil queen," he says this rather flatly and confidently as he knows his info is true. "Well now, If he's As bad as you guys say, I gotta go see him, this Mister Gold, or whatever?" he chuckled, a gleam appearing on his eyes. "Alright don't say I didn't warn you Regina says angrily, as Ben wasn't listening to her advice. (this brat is really crazy huh) . "Well then let's get going already Rook" Rook eyes him puzzled by this with a huge stack of dishes. "What's wrong let's go," Ben said unaware of his best friend and colleague's predicament. This makes the surrounding group including Regina shake their heads. "Um, Ben?"Rook says as a plea rather than a question. "Yeah," Ben said as he looked at his friend his eyes up towards the titling plates and trays above him titling this way and that way. "Oh right," he says rather apologetically. "I'm afraid you must go without me," Rook says with solemness ( curse this 9-5) Rook thinks to himself with dread. "Alright I'll go on my own, I'll get you a souvenir bro" Ben yelped as Rook just stared an inquisitive stare into Ben's eyes. Ben new the look and stared back with equal seriousness, as if they could read each other's thoughts. "This piques the interest of Regina who was staring between the two from a seated position with suspicion. "Alright I'm coming with you" was the short response that no one at that table expected to hear. Silence emerged as they all started on at this scene. But not one expected Ben's response. He said rather simply. This left another huge uproar along the table, causing some disturbance within the dining diner.
"You can't be serious about this, right?" Henry stated with a flabbergasted expression.

Ben's only other response to this was a simple yet eloquent
"Yep". This made everyone sweat drop once more, but they knew that once his mind on something There was no use getting him to change it. especially Rook, after spending so long with his partner fighting crime and going undercover within many investigations You get to know a guy. time passes, and everyone clears out. Henry heads out over to the Academy, and finally, Ben and Regima head out towards Mr. Gold's shop, leaving a surprised, dumbfounded Sydney on the way over to the shop, Regina takes this opportunity to question Ben even more after some awkward silence, so this response came out of nowhere. No setup, no prep up, just cut and dry, just like Regina is this sort of shock spin, but he quickly recovers this sweat drop covering his cheek as he smiles, chuckling, he thinks to himself, all right, she's going straight in for the questions. How am I supposed to answer this that's out of Sigh outwardly as I routinely wait for any sort of response? However, she already knows that he's from another world.

As Regina prepares to respond, he falls silent. Each footstep adds more suspense to Regina. "Earlier, I said that we were here for a vacation, I'm just hear with my buddy to cat h some zzz", but his response to that straightforward question leaves Regina feeling aggravated. It doesn't take much to realize he's lying, especially since his house was wiretapped. Sydney has been spying on his communication with his partner for the past couple of days and already knows that he isn't from this world. However, she wants to know the specifics so she can be prepared for whatever she's working with. If it's a friend, then Regina will do whatever it takes to protect her son. Rudrina can tell the morality or rather the intentions of people who are serious and closed off. They tend to be protective of their close companions. He knows this from experience when he was exploring Villex's home world. He saw firsthand the tyrant's actions towards the people he holds dear. Even though he was a criminal, he still had people he would do anything to protect against the motivations of evil-doers he encountered. As if reading Regina's mind.

"You can trust me. I'm not going to hurt anyone, especially not Henry" he said rather simply, the second, puzzled. Regina tries to analyze the lies or any type of deceit that she can when she can't find any. This aggravates her even more than usual. What's this guy's game? What is he playing at? What does he want? These thoughts plow through her mind, and in the end, she says, "You better not or you'll have hell to pay" As they approach the outer door of Mr. Gold's shop, Regina cuts the conversation short, she has no luck in this first place. When Ben opened the door, a bell rang, welcoming them to the shop. Inside, there were Gizmo's gadgets and ancient miscellaneous items. The first thing that caught Ben's attention was the term 'curiosity shop' that popped into his head. As they walked towards the end of the shop, he noticed the counter where a man of average height stood. The man had short black hair, a tannish complexion, and a limp, suggesting he had suffered an injury in the past. He wore fancy-tailored suits that matched his fancy-looking appearance. Ben immediately knew that this man must be Mr. Gold.
