Ian and I stumbled to first period.

"Late again Gallaghers?" Mrs. Greve huffed.

"Sorry. Problems at home." I mumbled, finding a seat and setting down my backpack.

"Yeah, well you've been having 'problems at home' a few times a month. You're gonna need a doctors note or I'm gonna have to give you two an after school detention."

Me and Ian exchanged glances.

"You got one?" She questioned.

"No." Ian mumbled, running his fingers through his hair.

"I'll see you two after school." Mrs. Greve stated, writing something on a piece of paper.

Shit. I promised I would meet David after school.

David Gill is my boyfriend, and I think it's going well, considering I've never been in an actual relationship before.

My thoughts have been interrupted by Mrs. Greve plopping a packet on my desk. I swiftly grabbed it and the title read 'Unit 4 Test'.

Well, fuck.

Once the bell for 6th period rung, I sprinted outside to meet Ian.

"Hey, Ian!" I shouted as soon as I found him.

"Hey, G. How was your day."

"Decent." I spoke, putting a cigarette in between my lips, and lighting it.

"Ready for detention?"

"Pfft. You're actually going?" I chuckled, handing him the cigarette.

"Well yeah. I'm already pretty much failing school. I'm not trying to get suspended."

"Well, your loss. I'm going to David's. Keep the smoke." I said giving him my pack of cigarettes. "You'll need it after detention." I winked, and patted him on the back.

I swiftly climbed the tree that led to the roof of David's house. It was clear that his parents did not like me, so I couldn't just waltz in their front door and ask to see their son.

David was born rich, and will probably always be rich. His parents always wanted him to end up with someone that had a lot of cash. Obviously I have the complete opposite of that.

Once I reached his window, I slightly knocked on it.

I heard scrambling around the room, so i put my face up to the glass to try to see what was happening.

After a couple of seconds the window flies open, and I am greeted by a boy with short black hair, brown eyes, and a cheeky grin across his face.

"Hey, Grace, how's it going." He asked, moving aside so I can step in.

"I'm Great, how are you?" I asked smiling, and crawling through the window.

His room was huge. He had a couch, a king size bed, and a walk in closet.

"Here, sit." He gestured towards the couch.

I sat down and admired all of his posters hanging on the walls. Most of them were bands.

"Wanna smoke?" He asked, handing me a blunt.

"Please." I replied, taking the blunt.

He sat next to me and we shared the blunt.

"Do you think your parents hate me?"

"Nah, they just hate the fact that I'm not with some petty bitch who has a lot of cash."

I chuckled softly, and leaned closer to him.

"You know...my parents aren't gonna be home for about an hour." He said, looking at his watch.

"Hmm... I wonder what we could do." I whispered in his ear.

He slowly started kissing my neck.

I was enjoying the intimate moment until the turn of a doorknob made me jump.

"David?  What are you doing with this slut!"  A voice coming from the door yelled.

"Dad?"

"Get her the fuck out of my house!" His dad screamed.

"Dad...I just,"

"You shut your mouth boy!"

His dad slowly walked over to me.

"You are never to see my son again. He doesn't need to be getting a fucking blow job from a girl who can't even afford to buy milk! You're a slutty, piece of shit! Just like your sister. Do you hear me?"

A small tear trickled down my face as I slowly nodded.

"That's what I thought. Now get the hell out of my house."

I looked back at David, who was looking down. Not daring to look at me or his father.

I sprinted out the door. Now letting the tears flow freely.

His fathers words cut into me like a knife.

I was running faster than my legs could take me. I found the spot where me, Lip, and Ian always go if we needed a smoke.

It was directly under a train, and sometimes the train would go over our heads. It calmed me weirdly enough. Lip told us to lay down and look up at the train moving ahead of you.

I finally reached the spot. I paused to catch my breath. I felt like I was dying. My breath was shaky and I found it hard to breathe, and my hands were shaky.

A found a pole nearby and slid down it. Putting my shaky hand over my chest.
