"Ice and Advil. And keep your weight off of it." Veronica told Lip, helping him down the stairs.
She turned her attention to the kitchen, where there was a new washing machine being installed.
"I thought you were broke." She spoke.
"That's what I said." Ian chimed in.
"Maybe it's David trying to buy his way back into my life." Grace said, cleaning the wounds on her face.
"What? Did you two break up?" Ian asked.
"Well, I'm not actually sure... but his dad called me a slut, and abruptly kicked me out of his house. Haven't seen, or talked to him since."
"Ouch." Ian replied.
"These were in the washer." Fiona said, grabbing flowers.
"Oh... then definitely not me." Grace laughed.
Veronica went up and read the card on the flowers. " Steve? No."
"Yeah." Fiona nodded.
"Who?" Veronica asked
"Steve as in... the random guy that was in our house the other night?" Grace asked.
"No." A look of realization hit V's face.
"I know." Fiona nodded.
The girls broke out in laughter.

"Fifteen years. Fifteen years. I've don't everything in my control. What did I say? What did I tell you? Sow and thou shall reap." Eddie said angrily, packing clowns into boxes. "She didn't reap this from me, I'll tell you that."
"Reap what? What are you reaping now?" Sheila asked. "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Whatever it is I'll try. I'll really try." Sheila begged, chasing Eddie.
"Mom, don't beg him. If he can do this, then the bastards not worth it!" Karen screamed.
"Hey, you honor thy father." Eddie said, walking out the door.
"Get fucked!" Karen yelled at Eddie.
"Don't try blaming me for this." Eddie grumbled, running back to the door, before it was slammed in his face.
"You're your own worst enemy, you two." Eddie yelled, rattling the doorknob. "They say bad things happen in three. They don't. Twos. You two."
Karen chucked a clown lamp through the window, breaking the glass, and almost hitting Eddie in the face.
"Insane." He mumbled, finally walking away.

"Hello?"
"How much you pay for it?" Fiona asked Steve over the phone.
"I'm not telling you that. It's a gift. So you'd remember the phone number, which obviously worked."
"Your washers in the yard. We don't need it. So you gotta come pick it up before it starts rusting."
"Oh, is it?"
"No."
"Did the guy connect it?"
"Yes."
"It's working okay?"
"It's not my favorite color."
"Oh, so you've tried it."
Fiona abruptly ended the phone call, as Steve chuckled

"Thank you all so much for listening tonight!" Grace yelled in her microphone, over the chattering in the pizza place. She observed the tiny crowd as they clapped, and noticed the same boy, that she had been trying to forget, over the past few days. David. Her expression quickly changed.
