Chapter 23

~Natalie~

"Baby girl, it's time to wake up." I hear someone whisper beside me as they run their hand over my stomache and leave kisses on my shoulder and neck. I sigh feeling the sparks course through my body from their touch. "Come on baby girl, I want to know more about our little bun in the oven." I hear them say before leaning down and kissing my stomach. I groan but open my eyes to see Justin smiling down at me. "There are those beautiful eyes." He says kissing my nose.

"I'm tired." I say turning away from him closing my eyes and pulling the blanket closer to me. He chuckles but keeps going.

"Nope baby girl. You have to get up because we have to be at your appointment in two hours and we still have to get ready." I open my eyes and pout at him after he turns me towards him.

"Can't we go later?" I ask and he smirks. "You are the Alpha." I say leaning up and kissing his chin but closing my eyes after again.

"No baby, we have to be there on time. I want to know if we need to paint the nursery blue or pink." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Fine." I say slowly getting out of bed but I don't open my eyes.

"Better open your eyes before you run in to a wall." I ignore Justin and walk in the general direction of the bathroom. I groan as I run my arm right in to the wall. I turn and glare at Justin as he lays on the bed laughing. He was clutching his stomach laughing as if I told him the funniest joke he had ever heard. I turn and stomp in to the bathroom starting the shower. I look up as the bathroom door is pushed open and Justin steps in. He only wore a pair of underwear that you could see the waist band of under his grey sweat pants leaving his chest bare showing his bandages. He had started walking a bit yesterday but got mad that I wouldn't let him walk a whole lot.

"I want to join you." He says pouting like a little kid. I cross my arms looking up at him and he looks a little confused.

"Are you sorry for laughing at me earlier?" I ask and he nods looking down as if I was his mother scolding him. I smile and wrap my arms around his neck jumping infront of him. "Good." I say before pushing my lips to him. He sets his hands on my hips kissing me back.

"Will you help me with my bandages?" He asks after we pull apart. I look down at his abdomen and nod smiling at him. I take his bandages off gently before we get undressed and get in to the shower. I help him clean around his wounds before we got out and I dressed them. When we were done we walked out in to the room and got dressed. I pulled on a loose pair of pants and shirt so it would be easier for the doctor to do the ultra sound.

"I'm ready baby." Justin says. I turn and see him in jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers. He wore a hat because it hurt to hold his arms up that long.

"Want me to do your hair?" I ask. He shakes his head and grabs my hand.

"No, a hat's fine. We are going to be late." I nod and finish my make up before following him down stairs. Justin refuses to take the wheelchair saying he felt fine. I sighed but allowed it.

"Just promise you'll sit down if you start feeling tired?" I ask him looking up at him. He nods and I lean up kissing him before he brought me to the car. We got a quick breakfast before going to the doctor's.

"Ah, how is the happy couple doing?" The doctor asks as he comes in to the room.

"Much better." I say and Justin kisses my hand.

"It is good to see you Alpha." The doctor says bowing his head at Justin.

"It's good to be here Doctor. I'm ready to find out about our little Bundle of joy." Justin says wrapping his arms around my waist

"Bundles." The doctor corrects and both of our heads snap up to look at him.

"Wait, what?" I ask him and he smiles.

"On your last ultrasound we found two. Congradulations you are going to have twins." He says and my eyes widen in shock. Justin behind me was shocked as well but soon let out a loud cheer. I could feel the color drain from my face. One child was going to be hard enough, Now we are going to have two?

"Um, I will give the two of you a minute to process this." The doctor says stepping out. Justin walks around the table coming to stand in front of me.

"This is amazing Natal-" He starts but stops seeing my face. "Natalie?" He asks. "What's wrong?" He asks setting his hands on my knees.

"I can't have two kids." I say and his eyebrows scrunch together in confusion.

"What?" He asked and I could see he was a little bit hurt. I didn't mean to hurt him but I was being honest. How were we going to do this.

"Two? I can't do two. One was going to be hard but now there is two, this is going to be completely impossible." I say standing up moving around Justin as I start pacing. I was freaking out.

"Baby, it is going to be fine." He says and I shake my head.

"That's easy for you to say Justin. You don't have to push them out of you. Oh god, I am going to get so fat." I say gripping my hair.

"Hey baby look at me." He says walking over to me and gripping my face making me stop pacing.

"This will be okay. We can do this together. You won't be fat baby girl, you'll just be extra pregnant. This is just your pregnancy hormones talking, I promise you that we will be able to do this, and you aren't alone. I will be with you every step of the way and we have our friends and family." He says and it was actually calming me down.

"I'm scared Justin." I say and he hugs me tightly.

"You don't have to be. You are going to be a great mother and now we will have to kids to show for it. And after their out we can work on more." He says kissing my neck and I giggle shaking my head feeling good now.

"I don't know about that second part but as long as I have you by my side, I'll be fine." I say and he leans down and kisses me.
