Best Friends Or More?????

Chapter 12

~Natalie~

Justin and I walk down stairs and into the kitchen where everybody was finishing their breakfast.

"Jazzy, Jax, can you go and play in the living room please?" Jeremy asks and they get up running off. Justin and I sit down.

"Are you guys hungry?" She asks. I shake my head no not having an appetite. Justin nods and she stands up making him a plate. Ashley puts her hand on my arm.

"Are you okay Nat?" She asks. Everyone kind of stops and looks at me

"Not really." I say. She walks over and gives me a hug. I hug her back.

"It'll be okay." I nod and then turn around facing the table again.

Pattie brings justin his plate. He eats some of it before cutting off a peice of sausage and holding it to my lips. I was about to refuse before I see the worried look in his eyes. It was as if he was begging me to eat with his eyes. I sighed and took a bite and chewed it. 

We continued that until the plate was gone. 

"So what are we going to do?" Chaz asks. Ashley was sitting on his lap and he was holding her tight. 

"I don't know what to do. Should we stay here?" Ryan says looking around at everyone else. 

"We don't have enough fighters to fight. For all we know this guy could have a whole army behind him." Jeremy says. 

"What could he want?" Sam asks. 

"He seems like he just wants us gone." Pattie says. Jeremy wraps his arm around her and hugs her closer to him. 

"Maybe we should try to go somewhere else." Justin says. 

"No." I say looking up at him. He looks down at me. 

"We are not running. That shows weakness. Plus he has already proven that running will get us no where." We need to just stay together. We need to call a couple fighters out here, maybe two or three. Not a whole lot." They nod agreeing with me. Justin grabs my hand and squeezes it. 

"MOMMY! DADDY!" We hear Jazzy from the living room screaming with terror in her voice. We all sprint in to the living room and see Jazzy starring at the window terrified. Jax looks confused and is trying to ask his sister what is wrong. Pattie runs and picks her up trying to sooth her. 

"Shh! Baby. What's wrong?" She asks. 

"T-there was a M-man outside the house. He was starring at me and Jax play." She says sobbing into her moms shoulder. Jeremy runs outside with Justin. We all stand there and I look at the window where she was starring. I walk outside and go to the same window. I look around and see a white envelope taped to the wall. I pull it off and walk back inside. Justin had just come in and I showed the envelope to him.

"It was taped under the window where Jazzy was starring." I say to him. He grabs it out of my hand and pulls it open. Four pictures fell out. There was one where we were all sitting in the kitchen, one where Jazzy and Jax were sitting and playing in the living room. Another were Jazzy had first noticed the man and she was starring right at the camera. The last one was of Jazzy screaming. 

There was also a letter. Justin opened it and read it aloud. 

"You guys are so careless. It would have been so easy for me to grab them both and run and you never would've known til it was to late.Poor young Justin. I could've take Sam, Ash, and Nat the first night. I could've taken Nat earlier, and now your little brother and sister. You need to learn to take care of your family" Justin growled and everyone turned to him. He passed the letter to his father and wrapped me in his arms. 

He was so mad and I could feel it. We stayed like that as the others looked at all that stuff. 

"This guy is crazy." Jeremy said mad. Pattie was rubbing his arm keeping him calm. 

"We can't let anyone out of our sight. We need to stay together all the time now." Justin says and we all agree

We all decided to sleep in the living room and we would switch off shifts for people to stay up and stand guard. We gathered some bedding. We made Jeremy and Pattie sleep on the pull out couch after they wanted the kids to take it. Jazzy and Jax slept inbetween them since it was big enough. 

Ryan had first watch so Sam laid her head in his lap as she slept. Chaz and Ashley were sleeping and Chaz was holding her tight with her back to his chest. I was facing Justin and I curled up into his chest. 

Eventually everyone was asleep but Ryan and I. I just laid there thinking.
