cassandra eve cohen is a jewish-american actress born on april 24, 1992, in staten island, new york. she began her career as a model in 2009 for various brands such as american eagle and aeropostale, before making an acting debut in wes craven's scream 4, as olivia morris. that same year, she starred in mtv's teen wolf as soon-beloved mean girl carson rivera.
she starred in teen wolf for all six seasons of the show, choosing to opt out of the movie for reasons unknown. because cohen has always upheld the show and character to such a high regard, fans speculate this was due to issues with showrunner jeff davis and other cast members.
her character was deeply missed, as many fans regarded her as their favorite person to root for (besides stiles stilinski), and felt she brought something to the show that other characters lacked.
fans can now find her in netflix's latest film, dangerous pursuit, where she stars as a young assassin posing as an actress in hollywood. she also has returned to her modeling roots with brands such as skims and calvin klein.
