"Headmaster.." Severus said softly, Dumbledore looked at him surprise.

"Severus, what brings you here?" Dumbledore asked putting the quill back in the ink pot.

"I wanted to ask for permission if Ms.L/N can be my assistant until her.. 7th year.." Severus said hoping that Dumbledore will allow it

"any reason why would she be your assistant?" Dumbledore raised an eyebrow

"well..I've been stressed in work lately and I've seen her works, and I must say.. its impressive for a student like.. her.." Severus said and Dumbledore nodded

"alright, she can be your assistant, but dont put her into too much work, remember she's still a student" Dumbledore said as he grabbed the quill and continue on his work

"of course headmaster.." Severus said as he left Dumbledores office

--Time Skip--

"Ms.L/N! Ms.L/N!" Lilliana called you, a second year Hufflepuff

"yep?" you said as you turned around to look at her

"Professor Snape would like for you to come in his office this second" She said panting

"oh, why though?" you asked confused since its break time

"i dont know! but all I know he's mad as hell!" she said fixing her low pigtails

"shit, uh I'll go, wait for me guys" you said to your friends as you rushed to Severus' office

You knocked in his office but no response, so you knock again, still no, you're about to go to the Potion classroom since you figured that he'll be there but his office door opened revealing his tall dark figure as he step aside for you to come in

"Lilliana told me that you needed me sir, what is it?" you said looking at him

"I have talked to the Headmaster about you being my assistant...and he agreed.." Severus said softly looking through the papers wearing his glasses

"that's great sir! when will I start?" you said excitedly

"tomorrow..you need to be in my office at 6 am.." He said still focusing on the paper

"6 am it is! anything else sir?" you asked

he simply shook his head and said "you're dismissed.. I'll see you tomorrow L/N."

You nodded "you can call me Y/N sir, since Im already working for you" you said and turns to leave but before you could leave he spoke

"Very well.. you can call me Severus.. but. only if we're alone" He said softly and you nodded leaving his office.

"Hey Y/N, so how did it go with Prof Snape? was his face all red like a pepper?" Fred said jokingly making Harry and George laugh

"no not at all, it went fine, he just told me that Professor Dumbledore agreed for me to be Professor Snapes assistant" You said drinking your water

"What?! you serious Y/N?" Ron said surprisingly and the others were shocked too

"yep, and I'll be starting tomorrow morning" you said finishing the water

"Congrats Y/N!" Hermoine said hugging me and I hugged her back

"the infamous Y/N L/N is the assistant of Professor Snape who's known to kill people by just looking at him" George said which made you laugh and the others

You woke up 5:00 in the morning and did your business pretty quickly so you wouldn't be late on your first day as the assistant of Professor Snape, you just applied a simple make up, styled your uniform and tied your hair in a messy bun and added some accessories such as bracelets, necklaces and rings

its now 5:50 so you made your way in Severus' office walking in the dark hallway alone and you knocked on his office as he opened it and steps aside as you walked in

"Good morning profe- Severus" you said dropping off your bag on the sofa besides the door

"good morning Y/N, I made eggs and bacons for breakfast... we should eat before we start working.." he said putting two plates on his desk "what would you like, coffee? tea? hot chocolate?" he added

"uhm hot chocolate sir, thank you" you said surprised that he made breakfast and you sat at the chair infront of his desk, he placed the eggs on the plate 1 each and 3 bacons each plate and he place the hot chocolate infront of you and place his coffee beside his plate

"eat up.." he said as he started to eat and you nodded, everytime you dont pay attention to him he looks at you with admiration

"how's your sleep Y/N.?" he asked and you're once again surprised

"its great sir, how about yours?" you asked drinking your hot chocolate

"..it went..well" he said half lying and half telling the truth since he dreamed about you all night and he doesn't know if its a good thing or a horrible thing, you nodded and you both finished eating, Severus grabbed the dirty dishes and washes it

"You should start by checking the first years assignments and I'll join you once Im done." He said and you nodded grabbing the assignments and starts to check it

Severus later on joined you and he kept being distracted by your scent and his dreams about you, and he gets irritated, but deep down from his irritation he sort of likes it so he tried to relax to your scent and focuses on the work while also focusing on your scent.
