As you left the classroom you can't help but smile at his compliment, you were so confused at first because he suddenly complimented your drawing, but hey, you weren't complaining either. The whole day you were smiling still thinking about Snape complimenting your work and your drawing.
"Hey, I noticed that you were smiling the whole day Y/N, is there something we should know?" Ginny said smiling while the others paid attention to the conversation
"hm? what? nothing- I just remembered a good book that I read last month" You said putting a book mark on the book and closing it
"hm, yeah rightttt.." Ginny said narrowing her eyes
"what?-" You said smilingly
"well, while you're smiling you look like you're thinking about someone" Ginny said teasingly
"wha-?" you said confused
"yeah Y/N, are you in a relationship that we don't know?" George said while he put his arms on Freds shoulders
"o-of course not! dont think ridiculously" you said with a chuckle
Harry and Ron looked at each other then shrugged their shoulders continued playing chess
"plus IF I'm in a relationship, you guys are the first one to know" I said getting up "anyways, Im tired now, Im gonna go to bed" you added
"right, night" Ginny said
——Time Skip——
Morning came by really fast and you woke in a good mood you decided to put on some light make up such as eyeliner, mascara, light pink lipstick and a light blush, you also tied your hair a braided style. you grab your glasses and put it on and you're walking in the hallway as you reached the greathall, you sat beside Hermione and put some food on your plate
"you look gorgeous Y/N, any occasion why you put on some make up?" Hermione asked
"oh nothing, I just woke up in a good mood not a big of a deal" you said eating, as you are looking around the greathall when you saw Snape looking at you, you smiled at him then look back to your friends
"she smiled at me..?" Snape said to himself completely stunned
you finished eating your breakfast and your first subject is Potions and unfortunately you got separated with your friends because their first subject is Transfiguration and Herbology, so you bid each others goodbye
you walked inside the classroom and to your surprise you're the first one to come in
you walked towards your chair and sat on it awkwardly
"early are we Ms.L/N?" Snape said putting his quill down
"uh y-yeah, I didn't noticed that its still early" you said looking at him
"I also noticed you are wearing make up.." He said sternly raising his eyebrows
"u-uh yeah?" You said nervously
"if that's allowed to your other professors, well its not allowed to me." He said "5 points from Gryffindor."
"right.." you said slightly embarrassed
Students starts to come in the classroom taking their sit others were giggling and talking
"SILENTS!" Snape said and the classroom became quiet as a graveyard
"now. you all are brewing Amortentia and I dont want any mess on your table, got it?" He said returning to his desk not expecting an answer "turn to page 56, there will be your guide for today." he added returning to his work
after 20 minutes Snape started to walk around the students table to observe them some where struggling so hard to get the ingredients right but some did it correct but still made a mistake but there's a student who did it correctly, Y/N, Snape hummed seeing you work on it properly, he acknowledgeds you and your work "See me after class L/N." He said going back to his desk leaving you confused.
40 minutes have passed and Snape was angry, you haven't seen him this angry before,
"I told all of you not to make a mess! and all of you ruined my cauldrons!" He said furiously
"Now! Mr.Wilson since you're the one who made the mess first you are responsible to cleaning all of this!" He said glaring at the Hufflepuff boy who was about to cry "15 points from Hufflepuff." He added
"all of you are dismissed! Wilson, after dinner you will come and clean all of this, now get out! all of you!" He said pinching bridge of his nose
"Uh- am I supposed to leave too or do you still want to talk to me professor?" you said confused since you're not sure what to do
"Sit." He said gesturing to the chair infront of his desk as he sat on his chair
he let out a long sigh, attempting to calm him down "I've seen your work so far Y/N and I must say you did a pretty good job to all of them, no mistakes and not making a mess,Im impressed" He said complimenting you
"oh really? thank you professor" you said excitedly
"now the reason why I wanted to talk to you is because Im asking you if you want to be my student assistant until your seventh year" He said looking at you
"I would love too Professor!" You said cheerfully
"good, I will talk to the headmaster about this. you are dismissed." He said not showing any emotion but he's happy you accepted his offer
you stood up and smiled at him "thank you professor" you said leaving the classroom
