Ch35

NADIA:
My body is slowly healing since I was taken by my foster parents. Eli hasn't left my side since I got home. My family has been helping me since I can't really do much because of how much pain I am in,
Since I've been home.

Eli has been helping me a lot recently with different little things around the house, he has been helping me up and down the stairs and he's been grabbing snacks for me as well. Even though I tell him I'm fine and he doesn't need to run around after me.

He still doesn't listen, it's almost time to go back to school and because of the way my body is in and my mental health Mom and Dad said I could take a few days off school to get back to normal, I told him I was fine going to school, but my body deceived me.

I can't stay awake longer than two hours, because my body gets exhausted after doing barely anything, my family have been joking with me saying if I went to school I'd probably fall asleep which they're not wrong.

Eli and Nico don't wanna go back to school because I will be there even though I have been telling them that it's only going be a few days, which they don't believe me.

Currently, me, Eli, Nico, Noe and Toni are all in the movie room, Alex is with Dad and Mom is doing grocery shopping. We were all sitting on little bean bags around the room. It was all calm until Alexei came in with a weird look on his face that I couldn't quite read.

"Nads there is someone here for you, they want to talk to you" he explained. I was confused as to who was there, I slowly stood up, but stupidly used my bad wrist to push myself up. I winced quietly and quickly rushed out of the movie room so no one would fuss about it.

I walked over to the door and saw Lucas standing at the door? I slowly walked over and closed the door behind me, making sure not to lock it. When he heard the door close, he looked over and smiled slightly when he saw me.

"Hi"

ALEXEI:
I was downstairs in the basement with Dad, talking to Mike, I wanted to talk to him more until we heard the front doer bell ring out. I looked at Dad and he nodded his head to the door, telling me to get it.

I groaned and walked up the stairs, opened the door and saw a boy around Nadia's age looking fearful. Good, he should fear us even though I have no idea who this lad is.

"Uh hi. Is Nadia here?" he asked quietly. I nodded my head and didn't say a word to him. I walked over to the movie room and told Nadia about the lad, when she walked out, the boys all stood up and followed Nadia out once the door was closed. I rolled my eyes at how crazy they were being.

Once they saw it was a boy, Eli was ready to pounce at the boys but quickly realised who the boy was. "Oh" he said before shutting up and looking at their conversation.

"What do you think is happening out there?" Noah asked, we all shrugged and kept looking out the window until we heard our father's voice behind us.

"And what do you all think you're doing?" We all froze and slowly turned around to see our dad standing with his arms crossed. We all moved away from the window and let Nadia have her privacy.

Dad laughed at us and shook his head. "You guys are all so immature and protective of your sister but nothing is going to happen between them" Dad laughed.

Before any of us could say anything, the front door opened and Nadia closed it quickly behind her, sliding down the door and sighing, before we heard a small sob escape her.

Eli was the first person to run over to Nadia and hold her, she looked up to see who was holding her and when she saw who it was she sobbed against and held onto him, putting her head into the crook of his neck. Eli looked up at us before looking back down at Nadia, holding her close to him.

No one said anything, Dad looked down at his daughter with pain in his eyes. We hated seeing our baby sister in pain. They didn't like that they didn't know what was going on but they knew they needed to be there for their sister.

After a while, Nadia fell asleep on Eli, her body was exhausted and she cried herself to sleep. Poor girl. Eli held her closer to him and picked her up, bringing her up to her room.

We all walked into the sitting room and we heard mom walk in with her hands full of groceries. She walked in confused and we walked into the kitchen to greet her.

"Why on earth is there a boy sitting on the side of the porch?" She asked, we all looked at each other before Eli and Nico ran out. "Shit!" I yelled, following my idiotic brothers out the door.

I ran out the door and saw Eli holding Lucas in a death grip and Nico glaring at him. "Put the poor boy down Eli" I sighed. Eli looked over to me before putting Lucas down, still glaring at Lucas.

This is going to be a long day.
