The lost mafia princess

Ch28

3RD:
The Romano family are spending the last few days at the cabin together. Nadia was worried to start school again and how people are going to react when they meet her.

Eli sat beside Nadia in the car, they all decided to go out to town and spend most of the day there, they started playing music since the car was quiet because everyone was up early. Nico, Noah and Antonio were all asleep and Alexei, Nadia and Eli were half asleep.

Dominic and Noelle were in the driver's and passenger's seats, smiling at how cute their children looked. Once they all got to the main part of town, everyone woke up and got out of the car, Nadia was stuck beside her dad because she didn't know anything about this town.

When they were walking around, Eli saw Nadia picking up a small stuffy with a little bow around the neck, Eli saw how smiley she looked when she had the stuffy. But when she saw the price, she put it back immediately.

Eli frowned and walked over to the stuffy when Nadia walked off with their dad. He looked at the price and saw it was that expensive, so he got the teddy for her. Hoping she wouldn't see him buying it for her.

They kept walking around until they decided to get food, Nadia has gotten a lot better with eating so she didn't mind where ever they went. They found a place and got some food.

In the corner of Nadia's eye, she saw a person staring at the family. Nadia slowly looked over to the person and quickly swung back around. She didn't know who the person was, but she recognised that person. She gently nudged Alexei who was sitting next to her and he saw the person as well.

When he looked over to the person, he froze, quickly turning back around and turning to his dad. "papà dobbiamo uscire di qui, Nadia non conosce la persona ma ho un brutto presentimento su di loro." Alexei said in Italian so that Nadia couldn't understand.
(Dad we have to get out of here, Nadia doesn't know the person but I have a bad feeling about them)

Dominic looked over and saw who he was talking about, he knew the person, but the kids didn't know who he was. "Alexei va bene, fa parte della mafia spagnola, sono alleati con noi, è anche con la sua famiglia quindi non succederà niente di male" Dominic said with a smile so Nadia knew it was all ok.
(Alexei it is fine, he is part of the Spanish mafia, they are allies with us, he is also with his family so nothing bad will happen)

After everyone was finished their food, they walked out of the restaurant after paying and walked around the town until everyone got tired. The boys wanted to go swimming again so they headed back home.

When they got home, the boys sprinted out of the car and Eli dragged Nadia out with them. They all ran inside and quickly got changed and ran back out to the dock, not wasting a minute the boys all jumped into the lake.

While they jumped in, Nadia sat down at the end of the dock and laughed at her brothers playing and splashing each other. Dominic and Noelle smiled at how happy their kids are. Eli sneaked over to Nadia and pulled her in, causing her to shriek and laugh at how childish they were being.

"Marco Polo!" Antonio yelled. Nadia was first to seek while the rest swam off, they didn't want to be too mean to her so they stayed close to her. "Marco?" Nadia yelled with her eyes closed. "Polo!" They all yelled.

After a few tries and each of them yelling, Nadia caught Noah, who ended up being on. Noah caught Alexei, Alexei caught Antonio and Antonio caught Nico.

Somehow Eli was safe.

It was getting late when they all decided to get out of the lake. Nadia got out earlier since she started feeling sick, or more crampy than sick. When they went inside, Nadia walked upstairs and went into her bathroom and it dawned on her.

She's been actually getting food, she's less malnourished, and she's getting healthier, she slowly slipped out of her clothes to have a shower and she saw it on her shorts she wore swimming.

She got her period.

Nadia quickly showered and ran down to her mom after her shower, trying not to make it noticeable. "Uhm, Mom can I talk to you about something?" Nadia asked quietly. Noelle looked over to her daughter and smiled, seeing the small tiny of blush covering her cheeks.

"Yeah of course, what's up hon?" She asked. Nadia fiddled with her hands and eventually told her mom. "I'll go down to the nearest shop and grab you some stuff, is that ok?" She asked gently, so Nadia wouldn't be embarrassed.

Nadia nodded and Noelle left the cabin to get her daughter the essentials she needs. Once she got back, she quickly gave Nadia the essentials and told everyone except Nadia to be in the living room.
(She didn't tell the boys, she told them she's not good and don't annoy her)

Once Nadia came back down, she stole one of Eli's hoodies and he smiled at her, seeing how big it still looked on her. They sat down in the living room for a family movie night and Nadia was attached to Eli the whole night.

She felt safe with all of them, but she felt the safest with Eli.
