I didn't see anything around me, because it was pitch dark. "I can't do this anymore...." I whispered to myself. Then I thought of everyone I loved and what they would say....
Ruzek: I love you so much Kim and I can't lose you baby, it'll be okay darlin'. Just please come back Kim!
Roman: Kim, you are my best friend. I don't know what I would do with out you.
Kevin: You are like my little sis Burgess, stay strong Kim.

I need to wake up, I need them. Is it too late? What if it is?

Ruzek POV

My head was pounding because of how hard I was crying. Although everything seemed to be spinning around me, through the corner of my eye I saw Alvin and the rest of Intelligence, plus Roman and Platt, run in.
"Have you heard anything yet kid?" Al asked.
"No....I..I c-can't lose h-her Al! I l-love her!" I said in between sobs. "She means e-everything to m-me! I w-wish I was in her p-place Al!"
" I know kid, but she's so tough," Al said.
"Have you heard from the doctors what's wrong?" Jay asked.
"Yeah....she has an epidural hematoma....aka bleeding in the brain. She's in surgery right now. If she recovers, it'll be a long road to recovery, if she even fully recovers," I said, terrified.
"Adam, she's tough. She can handle this. She never stopped fighting for what she wanted when we were partners, she won't stop now," Atwater said.

A doctor came in. "Adam Ruzek?" The doctor asked.
"Yeah, how is she doc?" I asked, more scared than I've ever been.
"She crashed four times on the operating table, but we stopped the bleeding. She is still unconscious, and we have a monitor that tracks her brain swelling. She won't wake up until it goes down, if it goes down. If she is to wake up, she may have some short or long terms effects, we won't know until she wakes up though," the doctor said.
"Wait doc, what kind of effects?" I asked.
"Memory loss, headaches, occasional seizures, slow reactions and limited ability to function. Worst case scenario is....full body paralysis, but luckily that is highly unlikely," the doctor said. "She can have up to two visitors at once, and she will be allowed to have visitors in about one hour. We will get you when she is set up. She will have a breathing tube in and a bunch of IVs and monitors around her or hooked up to her," the doctor said. "She is in a coma right now."
"Thanks doc, I really appreciate the update," I said, trying to keep my voice from cracking.

Burgess POV

Everything was still pitch black. I want to wake up so bad. "I need help!" I screamed to the blackness, maybe in hope of someone being able to hear me, but I wasn't really sure why. "HELP ME!! I CANT DIE YET!! PLEASE HELP ME!" I said, feeling like I was bawling but when I wiped my eyes they were dry. "I'm coming Adam, I can't leave yet, I can't."
