prologue

The world was a world of powers, of superheros and villains. People were born with powers. They manifested when you turned 13. Most people would have a bit of training in school, but not much unlike kids from superhero families. They were forced to train from the day they get their power.

Most were forced to become superheros, like Wilbur was forced to become a hero. He had been a hero since he was 16. He went through dangerous missions. That was never enough for his family, though. He never made them proud.

His father always favored his little brother tommy, tommy never noticed the pain Wilbur was going through and thought he got everything he wanted, making tommy jealous and rude. Techno, his godfather, tried to be there for him but wasn't good with emotions or raising kids.

All that pressure pushed Wilbur to become quite self destructive, he pushed himself every day to become the best. He did become one of the best. He was the third best hero, his father was the first, and his God father was the second.

There were days he didn't eat, days he didn't sleep, there were days he never came home from patrol, days he longed to he free of his responsibility of being the number three hero. That's how the story begins. The story of a hero and a villain.
