I'm just a simple Korean girl, I don't care much for those Korean pop stars like all the other girls my age do. I work at a convenience store and find enjoyment in working there with my best friend. My father passed away when I was 12 leaving me and my brother work to provide for our sick mother. I dropped out of school and started working here and my brother became one of those kpop idols in god knows what groups but I'm just happy he succeeded in doing what he was passionate about.
I was working my shift when someone entered the store I got off my phone and stood up, the young man looked around the same age as me but he had a mask on so I couldn't really tell. I spoke in my usual bubbly tone "Annyeonghaseyo" he nodded as I started scanning the items "that will be £5.80" I flashed him a bright smile as I waited.
He checked his pockets but seemed to have forgotten something "ah I forgot my wallet at home sorry" I nodded and was about to take back the items but he held them down "I can give you something better if you just keep it between the two of us" I raised a brow "I'm sorry sir but I don't want drugs or whatever illegal shit your trying to sell me, if you don't have the money please leave without a fuss."
He looked at me shocked "drugs? Don't you know who I am? You must be a fan?" I gave a 'bitch what' look as he pulled down his mask but I still gave a confused look, "I'm Yang Jungwon, leader of boy group Enhypen" he gave a proud look "I'm sorry who?" His face dropped as he just stared.
"Wah your really playing hard to get lady" I rolled my eyes and tried to take the items away but he wouldn't budge "I'll give you my signature just let me have these noodles" I fake gagged "dude I don't know who the fuk you are and neither do I care and I definitely don't want your crusty ass signature so if your not gonna pay for these items please leave" I sarcastically smiled and snatched the items away.
He sighed and picked up his phone "Hyung can you please come and help me, this girl won't accept my signature cuz I forgot my money" I heard the person on the other side snort. A few minutes later someone else entered the store and as soon as I realised who my eyes grew as big as the fuckin sky. "HEESEUNG!!!!"
I ran over to him and hugged him as he did the same "wow it's been soo long Y/Nie I missed ya lil sis" he ruffled up my hair as I giggled. "What brings you here?" He smiled and walked to the counter where that Yang Junwoo or whatever was waiting. "I came because this idiot called" I raised a brow and waited for an explanation.
"Y/N this is one of my members and friends, Yang Jungwon. Jungwon this is my sister, Lee Y/N" he looked up at Heeseung shocked "this is your sister? You said she was soo nice though" I made a face mimicking him as Heeseung chuckled at the two of us "so my sister is the annoying girl that didn't accept your signature?" He laughed at Jungwon as he fist bumped me "nice going Y/N."
I smiled as he took out his wallet "oh no no Oppa it's free for you, take anything you want it's my besties store anyways" he raised a brow "are you sure?" I nodded as he smiled and hugged me "thanks Y/Nie" I smiled while showing my teeth as Jungwon just stared at me. "Anyways Y/N you should come to the company some time, we don't get enough time together since my debut" I nodded as I led him out.
"Hyung wait in the car I just need to talk to your sister" Heeseung wiggled his eye brows at us as I just rolled my eyes playfully, "so what is it Jungwon?" he looked down and smiled slightly "sorry for assuming you were a fan I hope we can be friends" he put his hand out to shake as I chuckled and pulled him into a hug.
I pulled away as I pat his head "your forgiven and yes from now on we're friends" he gave a happy smile as I saw his cute dimples and without thought poked them, when I realised I bowed and apologised but he just chuckled "cutie" did he just call me cute? Bruhhh my heart, no Y/N you just met him. He smiled and ruffled up my hair before leaving a quick peck on my CHEEK!!!!
