When you were in a coma | Heeseung

Me and Heeseung were driving to the cafe we first met at, we've been dating for 5 years now and finally engaged. Our wedding is next week and today is our 5th anniversary and it's a tradition every anniversary to go out to the cafe where we fell in love.

Heeseung held my hand as he kept the other on the wheel "I'm soo excited Y/N, soon enough I'll be able to call you mine and no one can steal you from me" I smiled as he squeezed my hand "your soo cute Hee" I leaned over and kissed his cheek as his face turned red.

We've been together for soo long yet small things like this still get him flustered, cute. "Y/Nie don't do things like this you know how my heart gets fluttery" I giggled at his cuteness as I pinched his cheeks "cutieeeee" he pouted as he turned his head to me "your such a menace."

I chuckled "but you love this menace" he looked at me and smiled as he quickly pecked my lips "yeah I do" I giggled like a child while reflecting on how amazing my life is. I really do love Heeseung and he loves me, life can't get any better. Even though my parents didn't approve of my relationship I still stuck with Heeseung and he never left me no matter how much money he was offered.

I was daydreaming when I saw an unknown number call Heeseung. We both furrowed our brows and when he looked at me he chuckled and stroked my cheek "your such a baby princess" I smiled as he picked up the phone and answered it. I was looking ahead at the road when I realised the truck behind us has been behind us for a while now but ignored it as I admired my gorgeous fiancé next to me.

I looked behind and saw the truck speeding and when I saw the man on the inside smiling like a psycho I knew what was happening, my instincts kicked in as covered Heeseung just as the truck hit us. I felt my whole body go numb as the car finally stopped rolling, I looked down to see Heeseung unconscious but still in a good condition. I smiled and pecked his nose before my eyes became heavy and I passed out.

THREE MONTHS LATER

I opened my eyes slowly as I took in my surroundings, this wasn't my house. I pulled off the oxygen mask that was on me as I still felt weak but managed to sit up, I looked for Heeseung but he was no where to be seen. I looked to my side and both my parents were holding my hand "Y/N your awake" I pulled my hand back as I tried to get off my bed.

With my mothers help I stood up "Y/N how are you feeling dear" I shook my head at my mother "Heeseung, where's my fiancé?" They both looked down as I pulled away from them and exited the room running everywhere trying to look for Heeseung.

I made it to the waiting room where I saw the man I wanted to see, I ran to him and pulled him to stand up. "Mam I'm sorry but I'm waiting to see my girlfriend soo please leave me alone" I pulled his chin to look at me and as soon as we made eye contact his eyes widened "Y/N."

He pulled me into a hug as his hand stroked my hair, we both were in tears as we finally pulled away "oh my god I'm sorry did I hurt you, I should have been more careful. Do you need anything, I'll go get a nurse one sec-" before he could continue I pulled him into a kiss which he immediately responded in.

We pulled away as he caressed my cheek "I missed you soo much princess" I smiled as I wiped away his tears and we sat down "tell me everything" he nodded as he held my hand. "The call was a distraction, it was one of your fathers workers, the truck driver worked for him. He thought that I was the only one in the car so he planned on getting me severely hurt so he could marry you off to this rich guy but when you protected me iii" I squeezed his hand and smiled as he continued.

"Y/N you shouldn't have risked your life for me" I smiled and pecked his lips "I would die for you" he smiled and continued "after your parents found out they were devastated and blamed me, they forbade me from visiting you but with the help of the nurse she would sneak me in now and then understanding how much I loved you" a tear escaped my eyes as I looked at his pale face.

I stroked his cheek "Heeseung when was the last time you ate?" He froze as he looked down "three days ago?" I gave a disappointed frown as I kissed his nose "you have to look after your health, do it for me" he nodded as he smiled. "How long was I in a coma for?" His smile turned into a frown "three months, I called off the wedding and the boys helped as I spent my time here waiting for you."

A sob left my mouth "I'm soo sorry Heeseung, I put you through soo much. You deserve better" he shook his head and hugged me.

"I only want you Y/N, your the reason I live"
