When we arrive, there's gunfire. I let Annie take the lead in taking out the security, and I cautiously hang back, these people don't know me.

"You came," I'm assuming Hughie says breathlessly.

"Yeah well, I'm a fucking superhero," she says smiling, "And I brought backup."

I walk into sight with arms raised. Frenchie, the man Noir and I were trailing is shielding the same girl from before, and the third guy does not look happy to see me.

"What's she doing here?" the larger man asks.

"She, " I say, "Has information about Butchers wife, and I fucking hate Vought."

The men all look at each other, finally half excepting the help they light the smaller dark haired girl before carrying her to the exit.

They find a way to a garage door and get it open, I go out first, then the two men slip out with the girl.

"Holy shit." A-Train exclaims.

Hughie shuts the door, "Go I'll be okay!"

The two leave with the girl, but I stay at the door listening in. Making A-Train can't follow.

"Homelander was right. You are a fucking rat. . And you're the jailbreaker? Are you fucking kidding me?" A-Train paces a but in place, somethings wrong.

"Turn around and walk away, A-Train." Annie says.

He chuckles.

"I got this, go," Annie urges Hughie.

"No, I'm the one he wants, " He explains,  "I'm not leaving you.

Things in there light up, and suddenly go out, so I rip the garage door off the track. A-Train is gripping Hughie, buckling over in pain. He suddenly falls to the ground gripping his chest.

"Holy shit I think he's having a heart attack," Hughie says, falling on his knees giving compression's to A-Train, "You need to call an ambulance."

Annie talks into her bracelet, "This is Starlight, I have a code 78-65, A-Train is down. I think he's had a heart attack"

I kneel next to Hughie, taking over compression's for him. "You need to leave, I've got this. Meet me at Trinity Church Cemetery, a week from today. I'll help you guys in anyway I can. " Hughie nods, before hugging Annie goodbye and leaving.

Meanwhile, Stillwell is tied to a chair. Bombs strapped to her chest, Billy Butcher, and Homelander standing head to head.

"So y-ou don't really want anything, per se? You just wanna blow her up in front of me, right?" Homelander asks.

Butcher remains silent.

"Wow," Homlander laughs," Uh...you are dark and I kinda like it."

"Will you please take Teddy upstairs?" Stillwell pleads.

Homelander shushes her.

"Please answer one question for me, just one. How do you know?" Homelander asks," How do you know? I mean you must have some rock-solid proof right? That it was actually me who killed your wife. You must have that right? So what is it? Share, we're all very interested."

Billy remains silent, just looking at Homelander.

"Now is not the time to be strong and silent. Go for it," Homelander pushes, Teddy starts crying, " Are you telling me this whole thing is based on fucking feelings? A little bit-" Stillwell cuts him off begging him to take the baby upstairs.

"Shut the fuck up!" Homelander shouts, taking a breath. "Excuse me."

He walks over to Stillwell, and leans into her face. "You promised no more lies, you fucking promised me. You and Vogelbaum should have set your stories straight. They were so close. So fucking close but there was a few little details that were different. So I went back to Vogelbaum and I managed to squeeze the truth out of him. The real truth, "Stillwell starts crying, " Yes, thats it. "

Homelander leans in, whispering something in her ear.

"I'm so sorry, " Stillwell pleads, " i should have never lied to you. I know now that you don't need to protected. I'm so sorry. Will you please take Teddy upstairs?"

"Did you ever really care about me?" he asks.

"You mean everything to me," she explains.

"No, no. I mean everything to your job. You care more about that fucking baby than you do about me," homelander cuts her off.

"No, I love you. I love you, I love you.  I swear, " Stillwell says.

"But? Tell me the truth or I walk out right now," He demands.

"I'm scared. I'm scared of you. I'm scared of you,"

Homelander leans in, " Thank you for finally being honest," he kisses Stillwell.

He sighs before kissing her on the forehead, and then he uses his heat vision and melts into her skull. He takes a deep breath, going back to Butcher.

"Now, what was that plan again?" Homelander asks.

"Oh well," Billy says, releasing the bomb detonator.

Everything goes white, and Billy finds himself on a grass lawn. Staring at his Rebecca, a little boy, and Homelander.
