Brooke's POV:

"Brooke! Brooke!" I hummed in response as I turned around to find Iva. "Yes Iva?" I asked, putting the bead and string I was making down on the mat of our hut. "Neteyam and the rest of us are going swimming with the leader's kids. Want to come?" She asked, giving me a warm smile. I nodded. "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute," I smiled as she jumped up and down and ran back to the rest. I put the beads and strings in my small basket that Neytiri gave me. I dusted myself off as I began to walk out the hut. Meeting the others at the end of the docks. Once I made it to the end of the dock. I was greeted with the 5 Sully kids, along with Iva and the Chief's son and daughter. "Brooke! Come, join us," Kiri smiled and grabbed my hand and jumped into the water.

I let out a surprise squeal as water began to consume me with the beauties with it.  I wided my eyes once I saw the beauties the water carried. The rest jumped in after us and we all swam away. I stayed by Kiri knowing she was going to leave the group to adventure. We both stopped at rock, sitting on it watching as many different types of fish passed us. But one or two things surprised me the most was the Ilu that came swimming up to me and Kiri. Softly touching our faces and making clicking noises. I smiled as I grabbed the crip of the saddle and so did Kiri. We both swam on the Ilu having an amazing time.

Before we knew it, it became night, and everyone was in the water. Having this jellyfish type things on our backs to help us breath. Which I thought was pretty cool. I was near Neteyam and Lo'ak. -Want to adventure?- I asked, using sign language to communicate with them. They seemed confused so I pointed to the top. They understood and we all three broke the surface. "I said do y'all want to adventure?" I once again asked, the looked at each other and nodded. "Hell yeah, I want to get away from everyone. They are becoming too boring," Lo'ak complained, and I laughed.

Later on, us three sat on the beach watching the waves clash onto the soft sand. Lo'ak arguing with Neyetem and him arguing back. I didn't pay much attention to the two. Just sat there watching the waves. "Brooke?" I looked towards Neyetem, a small 'hm' coming from me. "Would you like to take a walk?" I nodded with a smile. "Yeah! Sounds relaxing," He smiled. Lo'ak just rolled his eyes. "Cut the affection between the two of you, stupid love birds," Lo'ak hissed under his breath. A warm sensation grew across my cheeks. Along with Neteyam as well. "Shut up Skawang," Neteyam hit the back of his head, making the younger one yell an 'ouch'. I laughed to myself. "Come on lets take that walk,"

Reader's POV:

Brooke and the two Sully brothers walked side by side, talking and having a good time. Talking about how they miss the forest or it was either Brooke telling them about home back at Earth. "Yeah, earth could never be this pretty. I mean yeah it had its own beauty. But it never stuck out to anyone," She looked to the brothers, their faces memorized. "So y'all had everything we had. But its more trashy?" Lo'ak asked, curious to know more. "Yep, very trashy. Before I even came here I was in high school learning about sea life. I studied whales, sharks, seals, fish, and many other types of sea creatures. That's why I knew so much about the Metkayina clan. I read every book in history about planet Pandora. I even knew what lived in the seas, the beauty of the coral reefs, the Tulkan, Ilus, and the shark type fish roaming in this very ocean," Brooke smiled, happy to express this to other people.

Back at Earth, none of her friends took interest in it. Telling her that it was just fake and she needed to get over it. But that didn't stop her. She knew it wasn't fake. People talked about Jake Sully all the time at home. Saying he was an idiotic man to stay in pandora and live among the Na'vi. But Brooke took this as an opportunity to learn more about to see why he stayed. Now she knew why.

"Wow, that's amazing. I thought no one even knew about his place except for the military or whatever dad was in," Lo'ak said, confused. "He was in the Marine's. Only Marines, or veteran Marines come here," She answered for Lo'ak for his confusion.

The boys looked at her surprised. "How did you know out father was in the Marines?" Neteyam asked, his Na'vi accent softening. "Oh, everyone knew. He was all over the news, along with my Uncle. Once the Marines got back from Pandora. They gave the news reporters things that have happen. I was about 9 or 10 when I took interest in wondering why your Father wanted to stay. They said he was an insane, idiotic man to ever stay on Pandora. Put now I know why he stayed. He found beauty in this and found his lover. Having his children by his side and his people. Your father is a good man, and a good father. So don't take his love for granted. Because one day, you might miss it," Lo'ak and Neteyam looked at each other and smiled. "You got a way with words, just saying that makes me want to know so much more about my father and you," Neteyam smiled, Brooke blushed from embarrassment. "T-Thanks Teyam,"

Neteyam smiled, "Of course Brooke," Brooke smiled, turning her head towards Lo'ak. He rolled his eyes and made a disgusted face. Brooke started laughing, and started to hold her stomach. "Hey, stop laughing! Nothing is funny!" Lo'ak whined covering his face out of embarrassment. "Oh little brother, no need to be embarrassed," Neteyam teased, Lo'ak in return pushed his brother to the ground and started "fighting" with him. Making Brooke laugh even more. "Brooke! Help me!" Neteyam yelled trying to push his brother off of him. Brooke was still in a laughing fit. "Hahah! I - I can't," Neteyam groaned and Lo'ak finally got off his brother and sat down on the sand with his arms crossed. "Y'all are pissants," Lo'ak hissed under his breath.

Brooke finally stopped her laughing fit and came and sat by Lo'ak. "Oh come on, we are just messing around. We're not being mean," She nudged his shoulder. Earning a groan and a slight smile. "Come. Sit Teyam," She patted the seat next to her. He gladly sat down next to her. They all stayed silent for a long while just looking up at the sky and the ocean. No one broke the silence, until Brooke spoke up. "You know, I'm glad I chose to stay here. I don't think I could ever go back home to earth. No one wanted me there. But here I have a good family who cares about me. Better than mine back at home," Neteyam and Lo'ak looked at each other and back at Brooke. "Wait, so you never had a interaction with your parents?" Neteyam asked. Brooke nodded. "Yeah, I never did. They were always to busy and never had time for me. They never said anything. Not even an 'I love you',"

Brooke looked down at the waves sadly, remembering the days she tried to play with her parents and they just ignored her. Just like they always did. "I'm sorry you had to go through that, I smart and kind person shouldn't have to go through that. You deserve better," Lo'ak nodded in agreement. "Yeah, your to kind to have that kind of treatment," Brooke smiled, "Thanks guys, but it still bothers me. I mean yeah they got me stuff but they never said anything. That's why I came here. Because I thought my Uncle would have been different. But I was totally wrong he is just like them," Brooke brought her knees to her chest and laid her chin on her knees. "Don't think about your parents Brooke. They don't deserve to be thought about. Think about the things you have now. Like us, you will always have us and the rest of the family. Don't let some scum bags ruin your day," Brooke smiled, and looked at Neteyam. "Thanks again Teyam," He smiled and nodded, "My pleasure,"

"Ew love," Lo'ak stuck out his tongue in disgust. Brooke looked away in embarrassment and Neteyam gave Lo'ak a mean look. "Neteyam, Lo'ak, Brooke! Its time to come home!" Kiri yelled from the shore a few feet away from them. All three of them groaned and got up. "Coming Kiri!" Brooke yelled, dusting herself off. "Oh, you missed a spot," Neteyam brought his hand to her cheek brushing a piece of sand off her cheek. She blushed.

"T-Thanks Teyam," She smiled, making Neteyam blush as well. He nodded. "N-No problem," They awkwardly walked to Kiri and Lo'ak. "Slow pokes, Mom and dad are waiting for us," Brooke nodded along with the rest as they made it back to the hut. To their new home...
