Professor Burnet loved her family, before it was just her and Kukui. Then Ash, Gary and Bonnie joined the two of them in their little home. It may only be for a small amount of time but she couldn't help love the two boys and little girl like one of her own. Perhaps it was the aura that allowed them to slide in easily as a family, aura seemed to have a penchant for it. She decided that she didn't care about the details, she loved them anyway.

Burnet stepped outside her vehicle, "Here we are. Okay then Lusamine, what have you been doing?"

Burnet walked through the facility that was running in full swing. The scientist were moving from one place to another while their assistants were following them around. She saw the blond woman talk to a blue haired man with a look of anger in her face. Burnet could see her blond friend was frustrated as she walked away and followed after her worried. Lusamine looked like she had not slept for days and weren't the kids visiting today?

Burnet, "Sami."

Lusamine looked up surprised, "Bru Bru? Why are you here?"

Burnet huffed, "Why am I here she asks... I am here because you worried your kids which worried my kids and which worried me. Have you been getting any rest?"

Lusamine, "I am fine."

Burnet raised an eyebrow, "Oh really? Your eye lids tell me a different story."

Lusamine snapped, "I'm not a child."

Burnet, " ...... "

Lusamine looked away feeling guilty, " ...... Sorry, I guess I have been unable to sleep lately."

Burnet held her hand, "Come on, you are getting some rest and relaxation. I'm sure your team can survive without you for a few hours."

Lusamine went to protest but a sharp look from Burnet had her quieting down. The older woman would not admit it but, she missed her best friend a lot. Ever since they both picked a field to specialize in, it had become harder to have some ladies time together. The last time they had fun with each other was Burnet's wedding to Kukui two years ago. Has it been two years since she spent time together with Brunette?

Lusamine, 'Well, now is a good time as any I guess. I just hope Faba does not do anything stupid.'

Burnet, "Come on, I booked a spa to help you relax. Yes, I booked it for the two of us. Now, relax and calm down."

Lusamine laughed, "Okay, okay, you have always been the mom friend among our group."

Burnet smiled as she took Lusamine to the spa, it was a good distraction and a legit reason. Her blond friend really looked like she could use a big break, after Mohn disappeared, Lusamine had not been the same. Burnet was telling Lusamine about how she was doing lately, the blond listening with curiosity. All the theory talks with Gary, girl talk with sweet little Bonnie and cooking together with Ash. It was fun to listen to, in Lusamine's opinion and she felt guilty for ignoring her own kids.

Burnet smiled at her, "Hey, you know your kids are worried about you. Why don't you take them out tonight for a family dinner?"

Lusamine winced, "I... I don't know how to.. "

Burnet, "Don't worry, I'll help you."

Lusamine, "Thank you and I am sorry for shutting you out."

Burnet, "Forgiven."

Back at Aether island, Gary was looking around the main lab while Gladion and his twin distracted the rest of the crew. Gary had his Gengar hide him while Bonnie used her cutesy look to distract the guards. Ash meanwhile pulled Faba into a very long debate about the difference and similarities between Z - moves and mega evolution. The scientist was very much into the debate and was ignoring everyone else. He had instead assigned someone else to take the students on a tour while he took Ash to show him his results.
