The L/N family is a big family of great slayers whose job is to slay demons who destroy many towns and cities. Y/N L/N was born into the family, and some members were joyful, and some were devastated when they were told the news that she was a Marechi.
A Marechi is a person with rare blood that is more appetizing to demons. As Y/N's father saw this as a gift from the heavens and a great opportunity in slaying demons, her mother disagrees with the idea of training her at an early age in killing demons, even if they were weak.
" No, Dear. She will not train until she's old enough. "
Y/N's mother's voice echoed in the room as all of the members' attention was shifted to her. Her husband looked at her in disbelief before closing his eyes as a heavy sigh escaped his lips.
" Darling, if we don't train her early, our family's strength might c- "
Y/N's father's sentence was cut off by his wife, whose voice was loud and it was indicating that she was slightly irritated.
" I don't care! I care about our daughter's life! She's a Marechi, dammit! All of the demons will come looking for her! "
She slammed her hands on the table before standing up and storming off and grabbing her daughter's hand and dragging her along the way. The daughter of the couple, on the other hand, did not understand a single thing from her parents' argument.
The word 'Marechi' kept repeating in her head as she was so curious about what it was. She was planning to question her mother about it, but her mother seems upset and she doesn't want to anger her.
