Nerves begin to set in as Neteyam nears what seems to be a home base for the clan. You never knew your first time meeting a clan, the Omaticaya no less, would include you being on the ikran after being rescued by a Na'vi as you were on the brink of death. Zex'Ki approaches the cave, which gave you a better view of the environment.

Na'vi and sky people were working together, willingly, which was not that surprising, since you knew from what Atki told you how there were loyal sky people that worked with the Omaticaya, but nonetheless, it was still shocking to you. The sky people were being helped with setting up lab shacks that looked similar to the ones Trudy lived in. Some bright lights were being placed in different areas of the large cave. Thick leather tents were being created, some were finished and others weren't.

Once Zex'Ki lands on the edge of the home base entrance, Neteyam hops off and stretches his hand towards you which you gratefully accept. The comfort in his gaze should at least distract you from the crowd that gradually formed watching you both with curiosity, but more so their eyes were fixated on you. Neteyam noticed this and he moved slightly closer to you at a comforting distance, but not too close to make you feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

As you both walk deeper into the cave which aided in skyrocketing your anxiety. You flinched when you felt a hand graze around your tail. It was a Na'vi child who stared at you in wonder, although someone gently but hurriedly pushed her a distance from you, almost as though you were a disease. You purse your lips, moving closer to Neteyam.

Before you both can move further, Neteyam is engulfed in a hug. Just looking at the person who embraced Neteyam, you could tell it must've been his mother, Neytiri a Tsahik in training. At that moment more arms embraced him and from the look of the large feathered attire around his shoulders, it was the Olo'eyktan, Neteyam's father. Joining the hug was three other Na'vi, but they looked much younger. Immediately, you realized it was Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuktirey. A small smile made its way to your lips as you witnessed the heartwarming moment, but immediately it disappears as you think about your own family. Your mother and grandmother, you needed to find them.

Before you know it, your eyes connect with unfamiliar yellow ones, which stare back at you with nothing but caution. It would be a lie if you said Neytiri wasn't intimidating. She breaks the hug and steps around Neyteyam trying to get a better view of you as well as the Olo'eyktan. Instantly, you do the respectful greeting taking in mind to show confidence and not pride, something your grandmother taught you.

Neytiri didn't say anything as her eyes grazed over your purple-blue form, you couldn't help but look down. This was extremely discomforting. It would perhaps be a bit better if the entire clan and the sky people who stared out the window of the lab shacks weren't staring at you. You stuck out like a sore thumb and it was the first time you felt uncomfortable with how you looked. Never have you ever felt uncomfortable with how you looked. However, right now...was a different story. And the murmuring from the crowd didn't help either way.

Almost as though sensing your discomfort, Neteyam's voice rings through your ears. Neytiri detracts her hand which was touching your long white braid that protected your queue.

'She's a friend who was lost in the smoke-'

'-Neteyam, you can't just bring someone who isn't part of us to the clan,' You have to admit, hearing those words hurt you more than you intended it to. Unbeknownst to you, Tuk, who was standing behind Kiri's legs had a small frown on her face as she was the only person who witnessed shimmering tears that wanted to escape your eyes.

'She could be a trick, used to distract us-' The Olo'eytkan is cut off by his mate, who places a gentle hand on his shoulder. 'MaJake..' Neytiri whispers to Jake. Once he hears her words, he notices the multiple peering eyes of their people curiously watching the interaction. Once his eyes land on your unique form, he can't help but sigh noticing the stray tear that you hurriedly tried to wipe away. This wasn't the right place to speak about this anyway and he will admit, the way he spoke about you was uncalled for. Neteyam returned to them safe and sound and that was all that mattered.
