After a few moments of being dragged around by Tuk and her contagious excitement. You have to admit the small girl's grip was pretty strong. Upon nearing the labs, a squeal of excitement exits from Tuk, and her grip tightened around your wrist, luckily it didn't hurt but the was no denying the young Na'vi sure was strong. You, Kiri and Tuk enter the lab but before you can allow your curiosity of the environment to get the best of you, Tuk hands an object towards you.
Tuk grabs a mask-like object, which made you furrow your eyebrows in confusion as to what it was. 'What is that for?'
'It will help you breathe inside because the air inside is toxic compared to the air outside. Like we can breathe sky people air for hours but this helps with keeping our lungs from straining,' A different voice speaks out from beside you. It was a young male Na'vi, from what you could remember his name is Lo'ak. Beside him was a human boy with a mask on who reached just above your waist, the blue stripes on his body and his blonde braided hair confused you. Spider. Did he think he was a Na'vi or something?
Before you can say anything both Spider and Lo'ak head inside sharing laughs among themselves. You noticed how Kiri grabbed one of the oxygen mask objects that had a strap to secure it around her neck. She took a breath of the air from the mask and walked deeper into the lab without sparing you a glance.
In the past you never used something like this, yes you were for some hours in the lab Trudy lived in but it made sense as you would feel the constricting air after some time and you would head out of the lab for fresh air.
You give a small smile towards Tuk and grab the black oxygen mask. Tuk gestures for you to bend down. You comply and you feel her nimble little fingers help with the strap from behind you. Once she is done you stand up and once again Tuk grabs your wrist, but it was gentler this time.
The science lab was a hundred times more advanced than the one Trudy lived in. There were holographic computers and the blue and white glow of the place was overwhelming. There were large tubes filled with clear blue liquid but they were empty. Before you can observe the lab further Tuk's voice rings through your ears.
'Hello Max, this is Y/n, she is my new friend!' You could practically feel Tuk jumping in excitement as she introduced you to Max a sky person who had curly hair. Max turned with a fond smile as he greeted Tuk and once his gaze landed on you, his eyes widened but failed to hide his amazement. Which made you feel a bit uncomfortable because it felt as though whenever you met someone they couldn't hide the fact that you didn't look like the average Na'vi. Noticing your discomfort Max clears his throat and directs a soft smile towards you which you reciprocate.
'Hey Y/n, it's good to meet you,' You nod in acknowledgement, giving him a friendly wave accompanied by a small smile who reciprocates it. 'It's good to meet you as well, Max,' Tuk beams at the interaction, even though it was small it made her happy that Max didn't seem to feel uncomfortable, but friendly with you. However, she couldn't see Norm.
'Max, where is Norm?'
Instead of listening to the answer to Tuk's question, your gaze drifts to a distant tube that held someone inside. Your feet seemed to have a mind of their own and took you to the tube, completely ignoring the calls from behind you. Without question, your purple-bluish hand reaches for the tube. Inside was a female Na'vi, her hair was braided with different types of beads on each strand.
Instantly a hand roughly grabs your wrist, the grip causing you to involuntary hiss at the unexpected action. Your bewildered violet eyes land on furious yellow ones, that belonged to the person that seemed to have a deep hatred towards you.

'Seriously Kiri, what's with your unexpected hatred towards Y/n, she didn't even do anything wrong,' Lo'ak rolled his eyes at his sister who just watched you with a constant frown.
