It was wondrous in the High Camp, the way in which the clan was actively working. You were observing how the Na'vi and the sky people were working together as Kiri was showing you around the large cave. She spoke very seldom and offish when she explained things about the camp. Yesterday was a great feast, some of the most exciting moments you've experienced in a long time so it was still strange to you that Kiri seemed to be in a very hostile mood. Although you've come to the conclusion that she just didn't like you and you were alright with that. Grandmother Atki mentioned to you how not everyone likes everyone and you have to learn to accept that.

'I see you, elders.'

Both you and Kiri stop before a few elderly women who were seated in a circle busy weaving baskets, crafted in different patterns. It was beautiful. The women respectfully bow their heads towards Kiri knowing her status in the clan. Following Kiri's actions, you do the respectful greeting right after her.

'I see you,' As soon as the words leave your mouth, the women shift their attention from Kiri right onto you and nod their heads appreciatively. They held respect that you, an outsider at least knew your place and how to greet.

'This is Y/n, and I am here to introduce her to the Omaticaya and to help wherever we can be of assistance,' Kiri speaks, her tone holding pure genuine kindness and no hostility in the least. You could only wish that she could speak to you like that as well in the near future. Glancing around the elder faces, you hoped that your grandmother was around them, but sadly she wasn't. Although you didn't notice the solemn aura around the elders. Without your knowledge, Kiri sensed the aura as well. She furrowed her eyebrows in observance and approaches one of the elders.

'Elder, how are things? Is everything okay?' Kiri places a comforting hand on the woman as she glances at the elders. Your jaw subtly widens in shock. You didn't expect Kiri to notice the sad atmosphere surrounding the elders. Very curious.

'Elder Atki hasn't arrived back yet,' The woman sighs. No one notices the stiffening of your body except for Kiri. She raises an indistinct eyebrow but makes no move to think about your reaction further. 'Elder Atki?' Kiri was confused as she didn't know who Atki was or even met her before. The elder beside Kiri releases a sad chuckle.

'It's understandable that you wouldn't know her, Atki is one of the most experienced healers in the Omaticaya, she is always travelling to other clans to share her knowledge and assist when she can-'

'-many believe that she has a mate from another clan because she is always gone,' One of the elders cut the woman off who just responds with a terse laugh. 'As much as she is a highly respected healer, it's no doubt the woman has secrets.'

You release an uneven breath and shakily take a seat beside one of the elder women who were busy weaving a basket, no attention in her face towards the conversation about Atki, but the twitch of her ears showed her interest. She looks up from the half-woven basket, sensing your presence. A soft smile adorns her face as she watches you curiously. You return her smile, but your mind felt like it was racing a thousand times a second. Two of the most important people in your life were missing.

Almost sensing your nerves, the elder woman beside you places a half-woven basket in your hands. A soft frown makes its way onto your face. Why'd she do that?

'Weaving will help release any tension from the mind, you should try it,' Her words make you gulp in nervousness. Biting the inside of your cheek in discomfort, your eyebrows furrow as you stare at the half-woven basket in front of you.

'I...don't know how to weave,' You confess with a sigh. Kiri overhears your words and turns her attention to you, your tail flicked nervously and your large ears were slightly pinned down against your head. You were embarrassed. Although Kiri couldn't bring it to herself to care. It was interesting, however, knowing a Na'vi woman couldn't weave and plus you seemed her age. This meant during all the time you lived not once were you taught or even tried to learn. It was shameful in Kiri's eyes.
