Three days. Three fucking days and Midoriya still hadn't came back through that door, neither hearing a word from Sensei or Doctor through the TV. It was really getting on his fucking nerves since the only one person he could talk to was Kurogiri, but the misty man didn't get him like the small greenette did.
"Dammit, what's going on over there...? It's not time for Izuku's feeding, right? Definitely not taking that shitty serum..." Tomura didn't like to think about the syringe solution his half-brother took each year, hearing how he talked about it terrified him with the words he would use to describe the process.
"I'm sure everything is quite all right, Shigaraki Tomura. Midoriya Izuku would never try to worry you on purpose-" Kurogiri did his best to comfort the light blue-haired male as a shiver went up his spine until eventually the damn ominous door behind him cracked opened.
"Fucking finally, took you long enough..." Tomura spun around in the red stool while rolling his eyes dramatically before his eyes caught sight of the condition Midoriya came back in.
There was a sudden lifeless look in his usually glowing green gaze. A stiffness in his stance with his eyes unblinking. Like a statue. Like... a Nomu .
"Izuku...? Hello?" Tomura sat up straighter in his seat, his hands gripping the wooden counter with his pinkies always raised.
"Do you like it, Tomura?"
"S-Sensei...? What's wrong with Izuku? What... What happened to him...?!" Tomura kept his shocked scarlet eyes on the teenage male, looking for a sign of... something...
"A few complications happened with Izuku, so Doctor fixed it right up and it's new and improved...! I was going to tell you, but I thought that would ruin the surprise."
Sensei called Midoriya an 'it'. What did he fix, exactly...?
"But... n-nothing was wrong... with him... right...?" Tomura clenched his hands around the table harder, digging his nails into the carving as slow misunderstandment and anger flooded through his blood.
"Oh Tomura. This is why I didn't tell you because you wouldn't understand. Izuku had begun to betray us and it lied right in front of my face when I confronted it. But, now without a mind of its own, it is completely loyal and will obey my every command; and yours, of course."
What was Sensei saying...? Only Nomu's do that and... Midoriya isn't... a Nomu...
"Observe. Izuku."
At the man's words, Midoriya instantly flashed with life and just as suddenly pulled a knife out from his belt that he still wore. He plunged the blade deep into the back of his hand, completely frightening Tomura as he gripped the counter tighter, the wood decaying under his touch and falling to the floor from the lack of support while the boy twisted the weapon further into his skin. Unflinching at the action.
"Unlike the other Nomu's, you have to call Izuku by its first name. I'm allowing you to have control of it as well since you and Izuku have always been side by side... and always will."
Hope lit up his eyes as they widened, Tomura quickly pushing himself up as he called out to the boy he cared so much about and saw as a younger brother to him. Someone he thought would never leave his side. Someone he never wanted to see hurt.
"I-Izuku...!"
He commanded the teen to revert back to his old self. Not only commanded, but begged . Begged for his life back, pleaded that he could save him...
But the command never followed through, only watching silently as Izuku took the knife out of the fresh wound he created, beginning to heal his bleeding hand and place the weapon back in its respectful place.
