3rd POV

Henriette was behind a wall practicing asking Crybaby out to the dance. she knew he would probably say no but it's worth a shot.

Crybaby was getting a drink for himself and Y/n who was reading her book. Henriette then walked up to him. ''Uh- hey Crybaby.'' The said boy looked at her with a small smile. ''Hey.'' He greeted back. He knew she was the one who wrote the letter, it was sweet but his heart was on Y/n.

''Uh... I'm guessing you got my note.'' She said awkwardly as the boy nodded. ''And I was wondering if you wanted to be my date to the dance?'' Henriette finally said and looked down to play with her hands. Crybaby was surprised she just straight up said it. ''Uh- look. I think you're a great friend with an amazing personality but,'' He paused and looked at Y/n with a love-struck look. ''I love another. And I hope you understand.'' He reasoned. She looked down a bit hurt but she knew that his heart held someone special to him.

''It's ok. I understand.'' She looked at him and smiled. ''Thank you. I'll see you around.'' He walked away and went back to Y/n with their drinks. Y/n smiled at him when he reached her and held his hand when he sat down to read with her. Henriette watched them with a smile. 'They're perfect for eachother.' She thought and walked away.

Y/n was sitting in a chair waiting for Crybaby to be done with what he was doing. As she waited, she was tightening the strap on her books so they wouldn't fall and she would loose them. Then Leo had sat next to her not knowing Crybaby was watching them. ''Hey. You okay?'' He asked concerned. She looked at him and nodded. ''Yea I'm okay.'' She answered quietly. ''You sure?'' He asked again. ''Mhm. What's up?'' Y/n confirmed then asked as Crybaby Glared at Leo intensively.

''Uh- I was wondering if you got my note.'' He said making her nod. ''I did. And I accept your apology.'' She said while looking at the ground avoiding eye contact.

''And I was wondering something else.'' He said next making Y/n look at him and nodded for him to continue. ''I want you to go to the dance with me.'' He continued to talk but Y/n was in her own world.

'What? I know I'm supposed to manipulate him and then Crybaby kills him but this fast? I wanted to go with Crybaby, oh- poor baby. This isn't part of the plan?! What do I say? I should say yes but that would fail and if I say no then whatever god out there knows what's gonna happen?! I'll just say I'll think about it.' Y/n then looked at Leo who was waiting for her answer.

''Look, you seem like a really nice guy and I would like to, but I need to think about it.'' She said Then stood up. Making Leo stand up as well. ''Now I need to go find my friend.'' She tried to walk away but Leo grabbed her arm.

''I'm not trying to pressure you but I need and answer.'' He said while tightening his grip on her arm.

Crybaby watched in anger. He really wanted to use his power on Leo but that would be putting Y/n in danger as well.

''You can say no, but I need an answer now.'' Y/n was still trying to get out of his grip. 'Come on Y/n just say something, anything to let you go!' She then said her answer without a thought.

''O-okay.'' She finally said. Okay maybe she should've thought about it. ''Okay. Great. See you tonight.'' Leo let her then and finally walked away.
