Lest

Of the deepest regret,

a sign of fortitude

not to forget,

a moment of gratitude

and annoyed attitude,

what it is

is the loss of one's own game

and his rules,

not followed.

Lest not to forget

the beginnings of a story

in which there was no fruit

and only sour candies.

Lest not to forget where the fruit was borne,

and where was the sour candies

birthed,

and lest not to forget,

that it happened at all

and the dependencies on it.

Was Worth The 25 Cents

I'll give you quartz

worth thousands of dollars

but one for 25 cents,

just so you could clear your mind.

(Who tho fuck is aware of crystals and there magickal properties? Literally no one unless they like the mystics.)

Devils

Don't let the devils on your shoulders

whisper bittersweet wishes into your ears.

Don't let the evil into your thoughts

and you will find that you have good.

Two Parts of a Whole

I've always believed everyone

everywhere have both good

and evil twirling in an endless

cycle of balance

within their souls.

Throughout life,

we learn each side well

in the beginning and by the end,

we have a little more of one

and another,

breaking the balance

and the part we chose

becomes and consumes our souls.

Lovely Lies

I bear my lovely lies,

and I won't cut them open

to show the truth.

It's not worth it,

I've learned.

Because,

we all hide behind masks

and whoever pokes their face
