Sensing the tension, (Y/n) gave them a soft smile before asking, "Not gonna eat?" they said nothing and slowly shook their heads, although a few seconds later, someone's stomach growled loud enough in the quiet room.
It was apparently Atsumu because Osamu immediately looked at him and the former looked away in embarrassment.
(Y/n) chuckled, "You guys did well." she placed both hands on top of their heads.
"And you still have next year, too."
On with Chapter 25:
3RD PERSON POV

With the nationals over, Inarizaki decided to use the remaining days they had in Tokyo to do some last minute sightseeing or shopping. Our protagonist, (Y/n), had decided to wander alone and somehow found herself in front of the inn Karasuno was staying at.
How did she know that Karasuno was staying there? Well, she didn't.
"Miya-san? What are you doing here?" Hinata was the one who noticed her while the team was waiting for the bus back to Miyagi. The people who weren't inside the bus, which was practically everyone, turned their attention to the manager.
"Ah, hello." (Y/n) greeted them awkwardly since she technically only talked to the first years that one time.
"Hello. Who are you?" Daichi was the first one to approach her while the others were watching him a distance away.
"Ah," she honestly didn't expect to have a conversation with any of them. Her original plan was to turn away and walk back to where she came from. But she guessed not. "My name is Miya (Y/n), manager of Inarizaki's Boys Volleyball Team."
"Miya?" of course that was the first thing Daichi noticed. But before he could ask about it, (Y/n) answered him, "Yes, I am the older sister of the Miya twins." was all she said and he didn't ask any further.
"Nice to meet you." he greeted, "Also, thank you for the good game." Daichi held his hand out and it caught (Y/n) off guard but she shook it anyway. "Nice to meet you too."
There was an awkward silence between them as they waited for their coach to arrive and open the bus. "So, what are you doing here?" Daichi decided to fill up the silence since neither were planning to walk away.
"I was actually just walking by. The team was allowed to have time to walk around the area and I accidentally found myself here." (Y/n) sweatdropped at herself, "But I can find myself back to our hotel so it's fine!"
Daichi chuckled, "Well hope you get to make it before it gets dark." he said.
The two continued chatting while they were waiting for their coach, who was having his own trouble inside the inn. And apparently their conversation carried on for so long that they didn't notice a lot of time had passed by.
Some other members from Karasuno joined in their group conversation while (Y/n)'s phone was ringing in her bag, but she didn't notice it only because she set it on silent.
So imagine the look on their face when they suddenly heard a distant "NEE-SAN!" and rapid footsteps coming towards them.
Everyone turned towards the newcomers and saw the twins running towards them. It seemed like the rest of the team were with them too as they (calmly) followed the twins.
Atsumu and Osamu stopped beside (Y/n) and were staring intensely at Karasuno. "What are you doing with our manager?" Atsumu said but got held back by his sister.
"'Tsumu, don't worry." (Y/n) turned Osamu and did the same. She turned back to Karasuno, specifically Daichi. "Well, I guess it's time for me to go. It was nice meeting you all." She shook hands with Daichi and some of the third years before joining the other Inarizaki players.
"It was nice to meet you guys!"

<assuming they go back by bus and not plane>
After the 6 hour journey back to Hyogo, the team had one more briefing at the gym before going back to their homes.
"Today was the last day the third years joined us for any competitions." the coach said as the third year players stood at the front of the group. "From now on, they will be focusing more on their studies instead of coming to club activities."
"Otsukaresama deshita!"* Everyone greeted the third years for their hard work before suddenly facing (Y/n), who was standing at the back. The action shocked the manager and before she could question it, all of them, including the third years, thanked her as well.
*Otsukaresama deshita = thank you for the hard work
"Otsukaresama deshita!" they shouted loudly in the empty gym and a smile grew wide on (Y/n)'s face
"Thank you for the three years!"
