❝SO, BLACK DRAGON IS DEAD?❞ Takemichi sweatdropped at Mikey's choice of words. "They're not dead, Mikey-kun…" he deadpanned. "We just beat them." 

"It's the same," the time leaper sighed as Haruki smiled beside him. "Yeah, they're dead!" Mitsuya stared at them in disbelief before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Unbelievable.. Hakkai was willing to leave Toman to protect us from Black Dragon, but you only need Baji, Kazutora, Chifuyu, Takemichi and Haruki to defeat them?" He muttered tiredly. "You guys are monsters." 

Takemichi immediately defended himself, "Not us," he waved his hand left and right. "Only Haru the monster here. He literally got hit by a baseball bat, then kicked Taiju's head casually like it's nothing." The white head bonked his head and successfully shut him up and smiled at the short blonde and the lilac haired male. "Ignore him." He said nonchalantly. 

Mitsuya sighed for the nth time that day. "That explains the bandage," he murmured. "You should be more careful, Haruki. Don't want our newbie to get hurt again," he patted Haruki's shoulder, making the latter look at him with an unknown emotion. 

Despite the emptiness of his expression, his inside felt warm. He never really experienced anyone except his father and [name] concerned for him sincerely before. It's new for him to feel the little affection from someone he barely knew. 

Slowly, he nodded his head, his honey eyes lighted up. "I will," he said wholeheartedly, earning a smile from the lilac haired male. 

'Now I can see why [name] adores them…'

Mikey faked a cough, taking all their attention. "Good job, everyone. And Haru, I'm sorry that you got hurt on your first mission. I'll make sure this is the last one, as I'm going to protect you along with Toman from now on." He grinned at the whitette who smiled in return.
