🍌 Waves 🍌

Felix sighed, tip toeing to the waters edge. As soon as the gentle waves lapped against his feet he jumped back, the icy cold water numbing his skin.

Who was he kidding? It was way too cold to swim, but he needed to distract himself somehow. So he took a deep breath, and ran into the water, diving in without much thought.

Felix immediately swam to the surface, coughing and spluttering in shock. His whole body felt like it was being stabbed by icicles, the usually warm water burning his skin.

The waves crashed against the sand, making Felix claw desperately at the shore, just out of reach. Felix could swim alright, he was born and raised in Australia after all. (🇦🇺💪 me too lix).

But the water was piercing his body, numbing all his senses, and his instinct to swim to the shore was clouded by desperate gasps of air. He felt overwhelmed and terrified as the strong waves pushed him down, screaming for help every time he managed to get his head above water.

Felix began to feel exhausted, heaving for air and his kicking legs becoming weaker and weaker. He could feel his body succumb to the current, steadily pulling him further away from the shore.

The next thing he remembered were a strong pair of arms wrapping around him, dragging him to the shore. And then all was black.

"-lix! Felix! Come on darling, wake up!" Felix heard a voice slowly becoming louder, until his eyes shot open and he shot up, coughing and gasping for air.

Hyunjin heaved a sigh of relief, pulling the younger male in for a hug as he sobbed hysterically. "Oh my god Felix, you had me worried sick!" Hyunjin cried out, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Felix whimpered, clutching at the elder male in shock. He began to sob harder, hugging Hyunjin as tightly as he could.

The pair sat in silence, a few choked sobs echoing through the air. Felix slowly calmed down, enough to blurt out a few words. "Hyun..jin I was s-so scared.." Felix whispered, his voice hoarse.

Hyunjin pressed a soft kiss to Felix's forehead, rocking his shivering body from side to side. "I know Angel, it's okay, you're okay now." Hyunjin whispered, stroking Felix's back.

"Come on, let's get you back, hm?" Hyunjin murmured, scooping up Felix's trembling body into his arms and walking back to their cabin.

"Here, I made you some tea, and here's a heat pack for your hands." Hyunjin spoke, placing the tea down on the coffee table and passing Felix the hand warmer.

He had showered the younger male, washing his body and his hair, and then showering himself after he was sure Felix was okay.

And now, Felix was seated on the couch, wrapped in a fluffy blanket and wearing some fuzzy socks Hyunjin gave him.

Hyunjin left for a moment, returning with a blow-dryer. He plugged in the dryer, standing up in front of Felix and blow-drying his hair.

Felix glanced up, shooting the elder a faint smile. It didn't take long for his hair to dry, becoming soft and fluffy.

Hyunjin hummed, ruffling Felix's hair as he placed the dryer on the table, not bothering to dry his own hair.

"Hyunjin, let me blow dry your hair too, you'll get cold if it's wet." Felix choked out, his throat raw from all the screaming and gasping for air.

The ravenette shook his head, smiling. "Thank you for your concern, love but I'll be alright." He insisted, sitting down beside Felix.

"I'm sorry Felix, it's my fault. I shouldn't have hesitated, and I shouldn't have said what I said. Of course I would be fine with leaving the show, as long as I'm with you." Hyunjin admitted, fiddling with his fingers as he spoke.

Felix seemingly ignored what Hyunjin said, crossing his arms. "Babe, your lips are blue and you're shivering. Let me blow dry your hair." He demanded, touching the elders lips in concern.

"Felix. Stop it love, just listen to me alright? I'm fine. Did you even hear me?" Hyunjin responded, gently taking Felix's hand in his own.

Felix nodded, pouting. "I forgive you." He replied, shyly kissing the tip of Hyunjin's nose. But his movements were slow and drowsy, and Hyunjin could tell he was both physically and mentally exhausted.

"Baby, let's go to sleep now, okay?" Hyunjin whispered, scooping Felix up again. The untouched tea still on the table.

Felix nodded, his eyes fluttering shut. Hyunjin made his way to their bedroom, opening the door with his elbow, gently lowering Felix to the bed. He made sure Felix was tightly tucked under the blankets, trying to warm him up by hugging his already sleeping figure.

And with that, he dozed off.

Felix sighed, stretching as sunlight peeked through the blinds, illuminating his golden hair and effectively stirring his sleep.

He finally forced his eyes open, blinking a few times to adjust to the bright light. He looked to his side to see Hyunjin sleeping soundly beside him.

He smiled, placing a soft kiss on the elders forehead. Felix was exhausted, but he knew he should get up and get ready for filming. He would wake Hyunjin soon enough too.

Felix entered the bathroom, showering and getting ready, covering the dark bags under his eyes with concealer.

"Hyunnie, wake up~" Felix whispered, pinching the elders cheeks. Hyunjin's eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the light. He squinted up at the younger male and opened his mouth to speak, but instead he sneezed.

Felix furrowed his brows in concern, raising a hand to feel the elders forehead. "Oh Hyunjin you idiot, you have a fever." Felix sighed, although he felt extremely guilty for the elder males sickened state.

Hyunjin sniffled, frowning.

"I guess I do." He chuckled, his voice nasally and congested.

But I was out of writers block and finally inspired for once, so I just decided to write a chapter now
