Chalter 12 Deja Vu

Maximus pov~

I sigh and walk out after cleaning up and just like Deja vu Ricardo comes out with marks on his neck.

I look at him and say" Cmon I did it again".

He smirks and says" I know aren't we a good matchmaker".

I raise a brow and say" Who are we".

He looks skeptical then says" I date her friend".

I try to recall who her friend is I only see her with that guy and it hits me I punch Ricardo's shoulder.

I say" You date the guy nothing is wrong".

He sighs relieved and nods I say" Well I might need to thank him ".

He nods and we leave after checking out heading back to his place.

  When there I shower and eat something we talk and watch the game and while getting drunk after a while I started thinking about Amelia and what she is doing.

Just then my wife texted me saying she misses me and loves me and that she was sorry.

I just read it and don't respond and sigh thinking how did I end up like this I see Ricardo knocked out with some Cheetos on his chest, and I get up calling my dad.

When he answers I say" Sorry I didn't believe you she's a dog I need some real advice".

My dad sighs and says" Son get rid of her you're still young and I'm sure you have plenty of ladies who want you real nice respectful and have some decency".

I think about what he's saying and say" Well there's this one lady".

He chuckles and says" Well son tell me about her".

I laugh happy to have a great conversation with him and go on to tell him about Amelia and I mean everything I have nothing to hide.

When I'm done he is laughing and says" Uhm wow this Amelia sounds like trouble but the good kind she seems like she has it together she even let you stay knowing you had a wife she is kind and caring".

  We go on until my dad's wife comes home my mom and he married for a while then both fell out of love sadly she passed not long after but they stayed together until I was 12.

  I come back and shut the tv off and head to the guest room I'm in then go to sleep.

It's been weeks since I saw Amelia and well my wife is still crying and says she wants to work it out but I've already fallen out of love with her it was moments I wished she came wanting to work it out but nope she wanted to fuck around.
 
   I walk into my home to see my wife sleep on the couch and sigh she looks pretty but I know the truth.

Amelia's pov~

I sigh and leave the doctors with my papers and a bunch of brochures my heart hurts I have to keep this a secret.

  I head home getting a call from Myles he says " Bitch cmon party night".

I sigh this has been our day since I became single but now what I know is I can't and I hate lying to him.

I say" I can't I have a Zoom meeting with a client".

He nods and says "Okay call me later".

  We hang up and I sigh I finally walk into the house and groan going to take a nap I'm very tired.

  It's now been 6 months since I saw Maximus and yes I'm still heartbroken but I'm also 7 months pregnant.

  I rub my belly as I walk to the bathroom this baby is making me have to go all the time.

I do my business and wash my hands looking in the mirror to see my face getting a little chubby.

  My alarm goes off and I sigh once again this baby wakes me up before my alarm rings.

  I go make some breakfast and eat then head to the shower and get ready for work.

 
  I rub my belly after receiving a kick, I don't know what I'm having yet.

I sigh and think about Maximus I wonder how he is I haven't seen him and kept my distance also he stopped coming to counselling.

  I head to work and after the day is over I call Myles.

He answers and someone says" Hello".

I say" Is Myles there".

The other person says" Yea he is".

I know that's Ricardo they seem to have hit it off while Myles just opened his first nail salon so now a bitch ain't got to wait in his living room no more.

   When he gets Myles on the phone I say" Well are you ready or what I'm on my way".

Myles scoffs and says" Yea cmon".

I rub my belly eat some snacks and start my car, I drive there and when I get there I fucking see Maximus with his wife I feel like I can't breathe is this some type of setup.

  I make sure I look good and look at the ring he gave me that's on my finger I had finally opened the box a day after I found out I was pregnant it came with a long letter and that's why I'm still heartbroken how can you love me but stay with a hoe that's what I call her.
