Chapter 17 Hurt

Maximus pov~

What did she just say I look at her and say
" What do you mean Amelia".

She looks down sad and says" I'm pregnant with your child".

I look around and see everyone having the time of their life and look at her than her belly and smile this is what I always wanted a woman who I love and who loves me then start a family.

I say" What when how why didn't you tell me to, cross that I just want us to get married".

She laughs and says" Well first get rid of her"

I nod understandably and say" Let's dance".

We dance and the next thing I know Ricardo and Myles are dancing next to us.

I say" You both knew huh".

They nod and Ricardo says" Sorry bro but my man said don't say anything".

I chuckle he respects his man I can't believe so much has changed in the little time I've met Amelia.

We open gifts people got her and when I see she's tired I say" C'mon let's get you home".

She pouts and I kiss her lips and she stands groaning.

We make our rounds thanking everyone and letting them know we are leaving.

We left and we get to her house I carry her in and she instantly reaches to change causing me to laugh.

I say " Amelia I want to thank you for making me as happy as I'll ever be".

She blushes and my phone rings I see it's my wife and I sigh.

Amelia says" Go home I'll be okay".

I scoff and say" Nope I'm staying here with my real family this is home Amelia you are my home ".

She smiles and says" Okay I don't even have the energy to argue with you or even shower I'm so tired but happy we are having a girl".

I nod and just think of our daughter running around.

I lay down with her after changing and cuddle up with her she loves cuddles even if the baby is in the way it makes it even better.

It's the next day and I've been staring at Amelia all night just holding her belly feeling our daughter move I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

I slip from bed and shower and go make breakfast once done I go stand on the balcony to smell the air and look outside.

Amelia's pov~

I wake up with a smile on my face and need to go to the bathroom I hurry and do that then get in the shower rubbing my belly I think our daughter likes water I smile and feel great and have energy, I think its because Maximus was there even though the baby slept well I usually get horrible kicks and she moves all the time at night.

Once done I throw on Maximus' shirt and walk out rubbing my belly then say" C'mon baby let's see where your daddy is".

I get there and smell amazing food instantly causing the baby to kick I giggle and rub my belly.

I look around and don't see Maximus until I spot him looking sexy on the balcony.

I just watch him for a minute admiring the way his body is how his back dimples stick out oh and don't start me on his muscles I get wet just thinking about it.

I walk up behind him and hug him I say
"Morning smells good let's eat".

He turns around and kisses me then rubs my belly and bends down then says" Morning my little princess".

  I pout because I'm hungry and it smells good I say" C'mon I'm hungry are you going to starve me".

  He chucked kissing my forehead then says
" Okay let's go how did you sleep".

I tell him and ask him the same and he said it was the best sleep he had had in a while I can tell he was lying by the bags under his eyes I wonder why.

I don't worry too much I know he is going through it we finish eating and Maximus phone rings I see it's his wife.

I glare and Maximus groans then says
" I should get this".

I wave him off and he looks at me raising a brow I ignore him standing up walking to the room to get dressed how can he still pick up her calls I hope he means what he says or else I won't hesitate to leave again.

I grab my keys when I'm done and walk downstairs to him still on the phone with her who knows what's going on.

Once he's done I say" I have to go see yourself out".

With that I walk out to go get some more things for the baby since I know her gender now I have to really think of a name.

When at the mall I just walked in when I spot Maximus' wife walking in my direction I sigh and go the opposite way hoping she didn't see me.

  I successfully finished shopping with out seeing his wife, it just hit me when I looked at the ring on my finger which means nothing really because he is married to her by law they had a wedding and I became a mistress to a married man but I don't care he deserves my love.

  I cheer up thinking about him and head home only to find him not there I know I was being mean this morning but hell it's hormones and I was feeling hurt by him answering her.
