Chapter 13 News

Maximus pov~

  I wake up to the side a little warm letting me know my wife has gotten up a while ago, things aren't the same but I stayed to work on it I can't just forget my vows but I'm suffering my heart lies with Amelia who I haven't seen in forever.

  I walk downstairs to see breakfast made and a humming wife who has changed her ways.

  My wife sees me and says" Morning honey breakfast is ready".

  I nod and smile she says" I kinda want to go to the new nail shop will you come with me".

I sigh and nod she's trying just because I don't want to fix this anymore doesn't mean I can do that to her.

  We eat and I say" Let's get ready".

She kisses me and I don't even get hard just a little then she walks off heading to get dressed.

We head to the nail shop she wants and once there we step out, we walk in and I see it's Amelia's friend Myles that's his name.

Myles sees me and his eyes get big then Ricardo comes out the back and says" Look what the cat dragged in".

I chuckle and Myles says" If you're not here to get your nails done bye".

I laugh he's always so serious about his nails.

My wife says" I am here to get my nails done your new and I wanted to try".

Myles nods and looks up then smirks just then I hear the door open behind us.

Myles says" Looking good how's the little one".

I turn around to see who's he talking to and my knees almost give out it's Amelia and she's pregnant and looking gorgeous as usual.

I sigh seems like she's found someone else I check her out for way too long because my wife grabs my hand.

My wife says" Nope let's go we are leaving".

I sigh and Amelia steps forward rubbing her belly then says" It's fine you can stay he's my regular nail tech".

Wow, she's nice and respectful but Myles had to ruin it and say" Nope nobody's leaving y'all are not about to fuck up my money now sit down and be adults".

Amelia scoffs and says" Fine I'll be right back I have to get something".

Myles raises a brow and I am still stuck looking at her I wonder who is her boyfriend.

Amelia makes quick eye contact with me and hurries to look away I smile while she just walks out then about 10 minutes later she comes back in.

Amelia's pov~

They have me and my baby fucked up anyways I tried to be nice.

I walk back in with my food and see them still here I groan like a kid upset, I walk to sit down and Myles just starts laughing out of nowhere.

I say" What's so funny".

His client in the chair is laughing at him.

Myles says" Your ass always eating the baby don't need that much".

I pout and say" C'mon whatever I'm eating for 2 and still look sexy anyways when can I know the gender".

Myles gets serious and I begin to eat and he says" When the baby shower is".

I laugh and start back eating after I finish seems like it didn't sit well with me or the baby.

I rush to the bathroom puking everything I just ate up I sigh this hasn't happened in a while maybe it's because he's here my nerves are all over the place I can't even think.

I rinse my mouth then wash my hands and go back to put a piece of gum inside then rub my belly. 

Myles's client leaves and it's my turn while Maximus' wife says" Can you be a little quieter next time nobody wants to hear that".

I scoff rolling my eyes and say" Can you shut that nobody wants to hear it".

I point to her mouth and she glared while I giggle then look at him to see his eyes on me I sigh and go sit down in the chair.

Myles says" I have an idea for your nails".

I say" Do whatever you want I just want to be far away from sluts".

I can't wait I like that we can still talk like they aren't here makes me feel comfortable.

  I get my nails done and on the ring finger he says" Your ring is dirty need to clean it".

  I look at it then Maximus to see his wife on her phone but nothing major how she used to, she's looking at nail designs I hope this isn't how I would be with my husband we both don't love each other but still want to be together.

  I say" Yea it does but I hate waiting on them to do it".

He nods and finished my nails once done I pay him then rub my belly and the baby kicks hard.

Myles sees it and says" Seems like the little one here is getting stronger day by day".

I giggle and say" Yea either he's going to be strong like his dad or she's gonna be sassy and both smart like their mama cause we both know the dad not".

I crack up laughing so does Myles, Ricardo left a while ago or he wouldn't have found it funny.

His wife says" Am I next".

I feel like being mean so I say" No your last duh your next look around you don't see anyone else".

She stands up I protect my belly she says
" your lucky you're pregnant".

The nerves of her I thought I taught her a lesson last time.

I scoff and say" I won't be pregnant in 2 more months I might need to teach you a lesson again or did you forget maybe you liked it".

I wink at Maximus while knocking shoulders with her on the way out.

Once in my car, I head to my house and then go do some yoga for pregnant women.
