The Downfall Hero

Chapter 7

"What's it like learning from All Might?!" A microphone was shoved into Izuku's face.
"Go away." The media had learned about All Might teaching at UA, and they immediately flocked to the gates like vultures. It was very satisfying to see the UA barrier slam shut in the reporters faces.
Aizawa stands at the front of the class. "I've gone over your grades and evaluations. Bakugo, good team work, but your tactics could use some polishing. Iida, you were incredibly stiff. Not every plan will work out, and you need to learn how to flexible. Midoriya, I'm glad to see you didn't have a broken limb two days in a row, but I suggest you work on mastering that strength of yours. Having a final move like a glass canon isn't a useful trait for a hero. Work on it."
There was a chorus of "Yes sensei."
"Good." Aizawa shuffles a few papers. "Now, onto homeroom business. Sorry for the sudden announcement, but today," Everyone freaks out, expecting a pop quiz "you'll be picking your class presidents." Everyone except Izuku start vying for the position.
Iida speaks up from the back of the class. "Such a task is a heavy responsibility. But ambition does not equate to qualification. So, I propose, that we hold an election!" This of course, brought up a few complications, an example being that everyone has only known each other for a day and they would only vote for themselves. Iida has a counter argument. "That is exactly why anyone with more votes would be perfect for the position."
Aizawa zips himself up. "I don't care how you do it, as long as it's done by the end of class and you don't wake me up." He falls asleep, as if on command and the class begins the voting process.
After the votes were tallied, Izuku was at the top with three votes, with Yaoyorozu and Kacchan tied for second with two each. "How did I get three votes?!" Iida was crushed by his lack of votes. 
Aizawa gets up from his bag. "Fine. Your president is Midoriya and your vice president is Yoayorozu." 
"Hah?! Why pick her and not me?!"
Aizawa deadpans at him. "That's why."

Lunch was great, with Lunch Rush as the chef of UA. Iida, Bakugo, Midoriya and Uraraka sit together at lunch. "I'm not really sure if I can be class president." 
Kacchan scoffs. "Please, you think fast and you're quick on your feet. You'll be fine."
Uraraka nods. "Yeah, Bakugo is right."
Iida nods as well. "Indeed. Your decisiveness and resourcefulness are why I voted for you."
Uraraka looks at her stiff friend confused. "But didn't you want to be president too?"
Iida adjusts his glasses stiffly. "Yes, but, as I said before, being ambitious and suited for a task are different matters entirely, so I made a decision I felt was best for our class."
Uraraka gets a sparkle in her eyes. "The way you talk, are you a rich kid Iida?"

Before much else could be said, the school alarm goes off. "Security level three has been compromised. Students must evacuate in an orderly fashion."
Midoriya panics slightly along with his classmates. "What's security level three?"
An upperclassman runs by them. "It means that someone's broken into the school. This hasn't happened in my three years here!"
In the river of students, Izuku gets thrown into a window, and sees the problem. "It's the press!" He looks around at the panicking students. 'This wall is 90% window, how has no one noticed?!' He quickly looks around, trying to find a solution. 'I need to get up high, but I can barely move.' He sees Uraraka near him. "Uraraka, make me float!" He quickly taps her finger pads, gravity losing its grip on him. He pushes off the ground and flies towards the exit door uncontrollably before impacting the wall above it, quickly transforming and digging his bone claws into the wall. "Hey! There is nothing to panic about! Its just the media! Now get your heads out of your asses and chill the fuck out!" His words, while vulgar and aggressive, had the desired effect, calming the students enough for them to look out the window and notice the reporters and start behaving irrationally.

Later, in class, Midoriya and Yoaorozu were preparing to make announcements and elect student council members, but Midoriya had something to say first. "Before we get into the other stuff, I have decided to make Iida the vice president and have Yoayorozu take my place as president. Yoayorozu had the next highest number of votes, and Iida knows a lot about rules and stuff like that, so I feel like it's the right choice." After that, everyone went back to work.
