Their next heroics class would be of the less violent kind. On paper. Everyone suited up and got on the bus. The ride to the training ground was decently long, so everyone took the time to get to know each other, starting with names and quirks. Izuku took detailed notes of each one, until it was his turn. "Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya. My quirk is Evolution. It's a transformation quirk like Kirishima's, only slightly different. If I get hit by something, I become more resilient against it next time it happens. Think Darwinism on fast track." When he's met with silence, he gets concerned. "Whys everyone so quiet?"
Kirishima is the first to answer. "So, the way your quirk works is, if I hit you, it hurts less if I hit you again?"
Izuku nods. "Yeah, basically. I went balls to walls training with Kacchan before the entrance exam, so I'm mildly fire resistant and concussive force does almost nothing."
Everyone looks at him slack jawed before Kaminari just sighs. "I hope I never have to fight you."Arriving at the USJ was both amazing and disappointing. The disappointing part, it was not Universal Studios Japan, but the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. The good news, this was going to be great hero training, and the different disasters would help Izuku train his quirk against other types of damage. After a lecture by Thirteen (an event that triggered both Uraraka and Midoriya's fanboy/girl habits) a swirling portal opened up in the centre of the massive building, causing Aizawa to yell to his students. "Huddle up and don't move! Thirteen, take care of the students!"
After being huddled together, Kirishima still didn't quite grasp what was happening. "Are those more training robots like at the entrance exam?"
Izuku gives him a dry look. 'Do those look like robots to you Rocky?' Hoards of villains enter through the portal, most horrifying in appearance. But two in particular drew everyone's attention. A behemoth of a person with a beak full of sharp teeth, and a guy covered in severed hands. This was not a good day. After a villainous monologue about killing the symbol of peace, the students were teleported to different areas, With Izuku dropping into the shipwreck zone. 'Can I adapt to being underwater?' That thought process is interrupted when Izuku sees a shark man swimming at him, jaws agape. 'See a shark, punch it in the nose. Wonder if that logic still applies?' He winds back an arm, ready to throw hands when Tsuyu comes out of nowhere and kicks the shark guy away, quickly rescuing Midoriya and pulling him onto the ship. Sucking in some air, he gives Tsuyu a thumbs up. "Thanks."
Izuku looks out at where the other fights are happening. "They're prepared. They knew All Might's schedule and cut our communication."
Mineta, who also survived, starts prattling on with his annoying voice. "Yeah, but there's no way they could kill All Might! Hell beat them all when he shows up!"
Tsuyu interjects. "I doubt they came here without a solid plan to beat him, meaning they have something up their sleeves. And even if All Might does show up, there's no guaranteed way for us to survive until then, and if they do have a plan, who says that he won't get killed when he does?"
When Mineta starts sobbing and grabbing onto Midoriya for dear life, a bunch of other water-based quirk users emerge from the water. "There's a whole school of them!"
Izuku looks out over the rest of the USJ. He couldn't quite see everything, but he could hear a lot of struggling. "It doesn't matter." His companions turn to him. "It doesn't matter whether we can or can't, it doesn't matter whether they can beat All Might or not, but if there's even a chance, then we fight to win!"Mineta starts sobbing. "How can we fight people who can beat All Might, dumbass?! If they can kill All Might our only chance is to hide!"
Izuku chooses to ignore him. "Those guys are all suited to being in the water, so it makes sense to put them here. What doesn't make sense is that they also put Asu- I mean Tsu here. Look. They're not trying to get on board. They don't know what we can do. So, we exploit the donk out of it. Here's the pla-" He's cut off by a giant wave of water cutting the boat in half. "Holy mother of shit!" Mineta panics and starts throwing balls in the water, screaming incoherently.Izuku whacks him over the head. "Stop screaming! This is not the time to panic!"
Mineta recovers almost instantly. "This is the perfect time to panic! We're all gonna die!"
Tsuyu sweat drops. "Are you sure you wanna be a hero?" While the other two argue behind him, Izuku looks out over the water to see how the villains react to Mineta's balls. They were very apprehensive about them. "Hmmm. He looks around at the villains surrounding them. "Time to employ a little physics. His arm shakes a little as he steps up to the railing and transforms.
"Midoriya, what are you doing?"
Midoriya leaps over the side of the boat with a scowl. "Go to hell you subaquatic fucks!" He readies OFA and fires a smash directly to the surface of the water, washing them all away. "Guys! Little help!" Tsuyu jumps off the boat along with Mineta, with the latter shooting his sticky balls into the water. Midoriya calls out to the villains. "Watch out for riptides!"
