{ third person pov: }
ahn miyoung waited in the hallway for her crush. even though we they just meeting as friends, she was eager to see him. she stood in between hers and ricky's classrooms.
"do you like music?" spoke a voice, miyoung confirmed that it was ricky's.
his question caught her by surprise. he approached her, that question being his one greeting.
"what?" she blurted in confusion.
"well you have airpods in so i'm assuming you listen to some sort of music," he explained. "unless you listen to podcasts."
"oh, well yeah i do like music," miyoung properly responded. "what about you?"
"kpop is pretty good, good music to dance to," he shared. "i like g-dragon."
"oh that's cool! g-dragon is good, i'm more of a fan of iu."
he made this "ahh" noise, nodding his head. "iu is always a classic."
"of course she is, she's iu!"
the two started their walk to the boba place, the only place where the two had hung out alone. miyoung had to admit that she enjoyed her time with ricky. but there was something that kept her up at night, did he actually like her back? probably not. it was just something sunoo mentioned and sometimes he doesn't have very trustworthy sources. the walk this time was indeed better than their previous one. unlike last time, the weather was great and there wasn't any annoying puddles blocking the path. they approached the shop to see a few workers take down the exterior fall decorations. the duo noticed that one held winter decorations in their hands.
"probably since it's almost winter," ricky noted.
"when does winter start?" inquired miyoung.
"well it's november 28th right now," ricky went on. "i'm not sure specifically when but winter starts sometime in december."
the tiny bell hung above the door at the entrance announced their arrival. just like last time, they were greeted with a friendly "hello" from a few employees.
