I was in the middle of class, sitting next to my classmate, the teacher was explaining science and what the earth is made of, I looked away from the board and turned to my pen that was just like a rocket but had a light at the bottom of it, I turned on the light, and lifted it up slowly, pretending it's a rocket shooting off into the sky.

suddenly my eyes wandered over to my crush, y/n hopper, how could I have the crush on pinball Vance hoppers sister, I mean we weren't friends but we did talk once and a while.

she came to my house one time because she was failing math so I volunteered to tutor her,suddenly she looked my way,turning her head towards me.when she did that my eyes widen as I panicked,turning my head back to the board again,i saw her peak a smile from the corner of my eyes,turning back to the board. fuck she caught me

*Bell rings*

The bell rang as it always have and always will.I hurried packing my stuff into my bag and rushing out of the classroom.i got to the corridor, keeping an eye out for my builles.then suddenly I saw all three of them, Matty, buzz and Matt.leaning against a wall, outside of their classroom

"Hey Finney"

Matty said.i turned away from him as I speedwalk through the hallway, passing people like bullets, it was like a sheep and a pack of wolves me being the sheep and them being the wolves

I pushed open the boys restroom.as I walk in, they was no body in here, thank god.

I go to the last stall and hid in it, lifting my bag up on the top of the toilet, along with my feet being on the seat so they wouldn't be seen.fear shivered through my body as I heard the door slam open and then close

"Hey Finney" I heard Matty say

"Come on out dickweed" Matthew said

"Not fooling anybody" buzz said

They weren't wrong

I came out, unlocking the latch on the bathroom door then coming out meeting the three, standing infront of me with a few feet away from me

Matty: "what are you doing in our bathroom?"

Matthew: "see the sign.it says boys"

Buzz: "yeah boys,not fags"

Y/n pov:

As I saw Finney run in the bathroom,while three other boys went in after him, I closed my locker and went towards the restroom, walking in.as I walked in I saw Matty, buzz and Matthew all blocking the way.i saw another person on the other side,it was Finney.i look at him as he looks back while he gives me that 'help me' stare

Buzz: "aren't you in the wrong bathroom"

"Aren't you in the wrong grade, your picking on someone in your own grade.it's kinda pathetic and childish"

They all looked at eachother

Matty: "how bout you just get out of here, your a girl what do you know"

"I know that my brother is Vance hopper and if I say you touched me.he will kick your ass"

Matty turned to the boys beside him

"Let's get out of here" he says, as they all shove pass me. After they left, I went in the big bathroom stall, those with disabilities , I sat down against the brick wall, I saw Finney staring at me, i stared back, patting the space beside me, signaling to come sit with me, he walked over and sat beside me.

"Close the door" I said

He grabs the door and closes it, locking it

Finney: "thank you" he said to me, as he sat down

"Yeah,no problem.,gum?" I said taking the gum juicy fruit container out of my messenger bag

"Sure" he says, I hand him it as he takes it

"Hey.can I ask you something?" He says

"Go ahead"

Finney: "how to you..how to you not care about what other people think of you"

I shrugged my shoulders "i mean it's all about trying to love yourself and trying to be confident in your self I guess"

Finney: "was it easy?"

"Wish I could say that..nope.it wasn't easy"

"You know I could pretend to be your girlfriend and stuff around school, then nobody would give you a hard time.

Finney: "..really?"

"Yeah, I mean. It'll keep the creepy guys away from me"

Finney: "thank you"

"We're friends, this is what friends do for eachother, have each other's backs"

-The bell rings-

"We better go" he says

We both walk out all of me friends waiting for me at my locker witch was across from me, they were all staring at me, I then turned to Finney, and kissed him

"What was that for?" He asks

"I just felt like kissing me boyfriend" I said as I gave him a smile, then walking over to my friends.
