I was walking outside with my class to boys baseball game the school did every week , the school was very sporty school, always doing girls and boys volleyball, battington, basketball etc, and putting on games just like these.

I walk over to the field, and walk up the stairs on the side of the bleachers, making my way up to the top section. I didn't love to go to the games, the only reason why I went is because of player 27. Bruce Yamada

The popular baseball player every girl had a crush on, including me as one of those girls. He had this black fluffy parted hair, witch was covered by the black helmet he had on right now, he was wearing his yellow and white baseball uniform, witch complimented his biceps nicely,yellow being the shirt and white being the pants. Wearing a pair of worn out GGDB shoes on

While the two teams talked with their coach, i suddenly saw three boys looking at me, they also just to happen to be the three known assholes in the whole 9th grade. Their names you ask?

The one with the emo hair is Matty, the one with the afro is Matthew, and the ginger is buzz. Matty mouths something to me as buzz pretends to slit his throat. I couldn't make out what their lips read but I'm sure it was bad, as buzz pretended to kill himself right there. I was 99% they were gonna try to jump me after this game was over.

A buzzer goes off and the teams go to each dugout, as the game went on Finney was next to pitch. He was going against...

As Bruce makes his way over to the batter's box. I watch him with my eyes, as he gets there he turns to me, flicking his helmet, nodding his head up while he did that, I smiled, waving shyly at him.he smiled back before turning back to the game

I heard the coach shout "play ball" before then I'm distracted by a soft voice on my right

Gwen: "hey y/n!" She said.i scooched over a few allowing her to sit down

Gwen: "soo, Bruce Yamada huh?"

I turned to her "what?"

Gwen: "don't you like him?"

"I mean he's cute-

Gwen: "I knew it!

"Keep your voice down!" I said trying to stop her from making a scene

"Yeah I like him okay.just don't tell him.or Anyone Gwen!

Gwen: "I won't, popcorn?" She said offering me her open bag of popcorn.I took a handful of the popcorn

I then heard a loud wooden bang!

I looked up at the baseball field and saw that Bruce hit the ball. I saw his lips shape words as a smile appeared on his face. He immediately ran to base 1 to, base 2, while running to base 3 he turns to me, winking. My eyes sightly widen as it felt like my intestines tied themselves together

He made it to the final base meeting his teammates who were waiting for him, his team cheers in on. But I saw Finney suddenly with a disappointment look on his face.
