I wake up from my bed to look at my alarm and see that I was 20 minutes late, I quickly get up and I start getting dressed for the day. But before I put on my cargo pants I then looked at the perfectly well bandaged tail and leg and touch it, earning a slight smile at the end of my lip. I quickly open my door and look around to see if the colonel was hanging around. Luckily he wasn't so I decided to head out to the field. I opened the door to see Lyle, Z dog, Mansk as well as the other crew waving over at me. I wave back and jog over to them.
"Hey! Sorry for being a bit late I forgot to set up my alarm.." I say rubbing my temples
"Well I'd love to say it's all good however colonel DEFINITELY noticed, he kept asking around for you which is interesting.." Z dog says eyeing me
"Yeah that is interesting, what's also a Scooby-Doo mystery is the noises I heard in the infirmary as well, I could've sworn it sounded like it was you and-"
Before lyle could even finish Quaritch gives him a hard slap onto his shoulder with a firm grip as he looks down at him.
"Where was L/N you said?" He says gripping harder into his shoulder earning a wheeze out of Lyle.
"Um they were in their room I meant! I think I heard ghosts or something in the infirmary..." he says wincing at the pain.
"That's what I thought I heard." He says with a proud hmph as the end and letting go of Lyle and slapping his shoulder making Lyle grunt. The group giggles as Lyle rubs his shoulder.
"Alright I got no time for no monkey games, so get your blue asses on that helicopter A S A P, let's go, let's go!" He says turning and clapping his hands. All of them nod and jump on. As I was about to take a step Quaritch puts his hand gently on my lower back and leads me into the helicopter and helps me up. He jumps in and sits right next to me, our thighs touching. I hold onto a bar as we rise.

"So how's that tail of yours doing?" He says glancing at me.
"Good." I say coldly due to how anxious I was feeling around him.
"Just good?" He says leaning his head to his left
"Great." I say turning my legs away from him. Causing his ear to twitch and his eye to glance at the space between us.
"Aw don't be like that kitten. I meant no harm" he says whispering while grinning
"Whatever." I say blushing harder
I look outside and I start see floating mountains.
"Wait are these those-"
"Hallelujah mountains? It sure is." He says leaning out more to get a better look. I follow as well making my thigh touch against his once again.
"It's beautiful..." I say as I take in the beauty, never did I imagine I get to be so lucky to be on pandora to see this. On earth we have nothing, absolutely nothing... I lean slightly out more without realizing almost causing me to slip out but Quaritch grabs around my waist quickly and tightly, pulling me in close to him.
