Her gaze softened with a proud and affectionate smile as she witnessed Josie's infectious excitement. "Puedo ver que estás emocionada, sweetpea," she observed, a soft laugh escaping her lips. With careful grace, Estefina raised the mug to her lips, savoring the warmth of the beverage while relishing in the joyous scene her daughter painted in their cozy kitchen on Halloween night.
