~Damien's POV~
I was told we had a caretaker; I wasn't sure why we even needed one I mean we're all adults or at least we are if we count the years we died after. I had been away for a few months, and I knew not many if not any missed the time I was away, I was an asshole to everyone, but I couldn't help it. walking in the mansion just to be engulfed into a hug, was not what I was expecting, I realized this wasn't anyone that I knew about, "uhm hi" I said. I hated being touched in any way and this person just invaded my space. pulling back, they replied "sorry, I'm Ryker it's nice to meet you, I've heard quite a bit about you." Looking the tall male over I saw he was only human, and if he was our caretaker *why would Slender choose a human?* I thought.
I walked right past him and straight to the lounge where a few were, Ben spotted me and came over "hey pipsqueak, anything exciting happen while I was away?" I asked, rolling his eyes at the nickname I gave him, "no, not really, we have a caretaker and Atlas hasn't been getting sleep since you left." stiffening when I heard about Atlas I nodded and jogged up the stairs to Atlas's room. knocking wasn't a choice for me, especially with Atlas, I walked in and saw he was just staring out the window. Atlas was the only one I would actually let touch me, we were good friends that's all and besides he's told me he's trying not to date because of how reckless he is. Hugging him from behind got him to get out of whatever trance he was in, soon enough we were on the ground because of how hard he launched himself at me. "You were gone for too long" he spoke, letting out a small chuckle, I replied "for someone who says they're not attached you sure do miss me when I leave". He told me everything that had happened while I was away and I was honestly glad I came back, turns out Atlas had a few breakdowns and vents to a few others which he doesn't do much.
~I think Damien was mentioned like 2 or 3 chapters ago, but yeah, he's back from his mission, he tends to go on them once in a while but doesn't go a lot, because of Atlas. Damien and Atlas are just friends and have been for a while, I plan to post a chapter about how they met but it may take a while considering I have been busy working on other stories at the same time. Damien and Ryker never knew each other, and since Ryker is very touchy Damien instantly starts to dislike him. anyway, bye for now creatures~
