Pucca and I we're having little chit chats about random topics

but behind her was Garu...

Garu's presence is intimidating. He keeps glaring at me. He looks very pissed, but when ever Pucca turns her back to talk to him, his face suddenly changes fast as lighting into a warm kind face. A face that you could trust.

It baffles me.

Garu and I was never friends but I stopped making nonsensical revenges on Garu since... it's was getting old and Garu feels the same thing. We had this weird type of friendship in which we hated each other but I'm guessing that helped built a weird friendship in some instances.

Suddenly my Pucca stood up and said "I need to head to the restroom. One minute!" She quickly rushes to the bathroom and left me and Garu with one empty seat right on the middle of us.

An akward silence...

"Well Garu! It's been awhile heh." I smile awkwardly.

"Oh yes tobe it has. It's been awhile since it was your last attempt of "revenge". Your hilarious tobe!" He laugh with cockiness and a mocking tone.

"Yea... We'll.. I decided to stop doing those shenanigans.." I say

"You should be embarrassed of how many attempts you did. I'm guessing you got knocked into your senses" He laughs

I worked really hard in planning those tricks on Garu but it always seems to fail. Hearing this from Garu makes me feel ashamed.

"Yep! Past is past anyway heh.." I still hold a grudge against Garu after what he did to pucca.

"How did you and Pucca became "Friends"?" Suddenly the atmosphere was serious. He looked me dead in my eye.

"Oh! Well.. Pucca needed me for er.. help from me.."

"Help..? Pucca needed help?? For what.. exactly??" He was glaring at me while asking this question, and slowly I get more irritated.

"What is your business in whatever Pucca does?" I roared back.

Why does he need to know whatever Pucca does? Why does he care??? Wasn't he the reasons Pucca was suffering???

He seemed shocked with my response..
he gritted his teeth. "Oh wow! You suddenly cared about her!! Your just using her!!" he spat

Without an instant I stood up, and grabbed his collar.

now we were in eye to eye level

I looked at him straight into his eyes

"You-"

I stopped and let him down

"Is this one of your tricks tobe?... getting Pucca to turn her back at me..? Your so low. The same tobe that never changes. Classic"

God how much I wanna punch that "handsome" face of his. I grit my teeth trying to calm my anger. A real ninja does not get his petty emotions in his way.

A sit back on the chair looking away from Garu.

I cant let him get to me...

"Of course."
I could hear Garu sit back in his chair.

Before anything could happen..
I saw Pucca skipping her back to the table.
She then plops her self back in her chair between us.

as the atmosphere feels too cold to bare, Garu stood up

"Pucca.. I'm just remembered that I had to do something... I'll be heading early sorry.."

"But our food hasn't come yet?" Pucca looked confused

"Oh. It's something really urgent so just drop it down my house." He smiles kindly

"Oh is that so?... I'll make sure to drop by"

He then he walks away.

I could tell Pucca could sense the distribution in the table but refuses to say anything..

"Welp it's just you and me, Tobe" she smiles
