Garus POV

I realized my feelings for Pucca, and how deep it was. Everything I did to her.

Acting in a way where I didn't enjoy her company at all, but in the end of the day, I still wait for her presence. Without her constant clinginess, my day wouldn't be normal.

I thought I'd be celebrating, finally having pucca out my hair.

But now I'm here asking her for forgiveness cause I knew I went too far.

I'll try another time to finally get her back.

At mid day I continued my training like it was just another normal day.

As I did my casual routine I heard a rustle happening between the bushes.

Suddenly my survival Instinct turned on.
Hearing sensitivity 100% check.
Joints flexibility 100% check
Ready for any attack, check

The sound sounds like someone stepping on grass. Rustle..
Then suddenly I felt someone behind me.
I quickly turned and jumped to my ninja position, but too my surprised

"Pucca..?"
My guard was down, I was at ease.

"Uh why are you here..?"

"You left early yesterday... did I do something wrong? I knew you wanted to talk.. especially the "us" you were talking about." Pucca said with sincerity

"Oh right... but I thought it would be just me and you, other than tobe.."

"Oh.. sorry I just thought another buddy would lessen the tension between us" she looked down in a apologetic manner

I sighed

"Look Pucca, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to burst like that. It was just a bad day.."

"Garu what you did, really hurt me.. like really bad. I was a stupid naive person and I'm sorry. I'll do my best to give you space-

"Wait.."
I suddenly bursted out. She looked at me confused about my sudden comment.

"Huh..?"

"Is it tobe?"
I asked

"What? What does he have to do about any of this?" She said defensively

"Why are you suddenly hanging out him??"

"So what if I do? I'm friends with tobe now,
what about it."

"HES USING YOU!"
I stepped forward.

She pushed me.

"What do you know about tobe?!!!!"

"You kissed him.. in the cheeks.."

She was speechless. Her tears were forming

"Why are you suddenly acting like you care about me. Why..? I spent so many years with you, trying to earn your love back but you kept pushing me away. WHY NOW GARU..? I hate it. I hate when you're holding me back."

She covered her face trying her best to wipe the tears. Her voice was shaky , I could tell she wanted to run away but was stuck in her place.

I couldn't say anything back, because
She was right.. I did treat her horrible

What gives me the right to tell her that tobe was using her

"I'm sorry" it was the only thing I could muster up

"I get it Garu, and I'll stop. I'll stop chasing you" she says with the saddest tone I heard from her.

"No..."

She still wouldn't look at me.

I grabbed her hands from her face, I held it. But she couldn't stop crying. She squint her eyes trying her best to not look at me.

"Pucca"
She then stopped sobbing but tears are still pouring down her face. She looked at my eyes
"I love you."
She then went silent
"I've always loved you."

"What..?"

"I was once young and stupid. I've always loved you. I would always wait for you at the same place. I pretended like I didn't but deep down I've always been waiting for you. Always"
I said while I feel tears pushing in

"I'm finally am matured enough to understand my love for you."

She looked at me.
With different eyes.
I couldn't tell what she was feeling at that moment

"I too finally am mature enough to understand that feelings can move on" she said boldly

After what she said. I let her hands go. I watched her run far from me.
I finally said it. I finally said words the words I meant. Was it really worth it
