007, myeong-dong

THE KISS LIBRARY was almost empty except for a few students studying. it was saturday and people were gone because it was the weekend. the people who's family lived there usually went home for the weekend and others went out to explore outside of the campus.

luna and minho sat at a table as she helped him with his math. he had actually really been improving ever since he started to get tutored. somehow when luna explained math, it made much more sense to him compared to when his teacher did. she'd actually take the time to explain everything to her and not get frustrated like teachers did when he didn't understand something.

"you just plug this into here." luna explained, pointing at the paper.

"and that's it?" he asked and she nodded "pretty much, yeah. you just got make sure to simplify it if you can." he finished the problem and luna checked it. "and that's the last problem." luna said closing the book.

"finally. freedom!" minho said gettin up from his chair, stretching his arms up. luna just laughed as she began to pack her things up. "hey, uh—do you have any plans now?"

"no, why?"

"oh i don't know. i was gonna around myeong-dong to shop and eat. i just wanted to know if you wanted to come." minho said, taking luna by surprise. minho had never asked her to hang out with him besides this summer. if he did ask to go out, he asked dae and q too. so it was very unlike him to ask her:

what luna didn't know was q and kitty were actually the ones who pushed minho to ask her.

minho was peacefully watching a k-drama on the tv in the boys living room. the door of kitty and q's room opened as the two walked out. "we know you like her, minho." kitty and q said sitting in front of minho, blocking his view of the tv. kitty grabbed remote next to him and turned the tv off. "uh—hey! i was watching that!" minho huffed.

"shut up, don't change the subject. you told dae you liked luna. we know you guys tom and jerry around all the time, but inside you heart you really care about her, right? and why did you guys hang out this summer? when didn't you start liking her?" q asked.

"what is this an interrogation?"

"answer the question, minho." kitty said and minho sighed.

"okay, yes, as much as i don't admit it, i do care for her." minho answered, "we hung out this summer cause we just both happened to be in la at the same time. so we went to dinner and it was actually kind of nice. we never really talked one on one like that before. my friend also had a party so i just invited her. we talked, but went separate ways after cause she knew a couple of guys there."

"and when you started liking her?" kitty asked.

"i don't know, i just did, okay?"

"you need to ask her out. that's why we're gonna help you." kitty said and q nodded. "what about after tutoring on saturday? you can go off campus and go out or something." q suggested.

"what if she doesn't say yes?"

"she will."

"what—are you okay? are you sick?" luna said feeling his forehead and minho brushed it off. "no, i'm fine, luna, and i'm being serious. you wanna come?" he asked "my driver is taking me."

it took luna a couple of seconds to respond, "uh, sure. i'm just gonna put this back in my room and i'll met you downstairs." she said referring to her bag and books. minho nodded and went to their dorms.

surprisingly, yuri was in the dorm hadn't gone home this weekend. she usually went home with her mom during the weekend cause she lived close. "what are you up
to luna?" yuri asked in their living room watching tv.

"uh minho asked me to shop and eat with him." luna said and yuri turned to her. "oh, that's new." yuri responded and luna nodded as she set her things on the kitchen counter.

"so is it like a date?" yuri asked.

"no." luna said and yuri gave her a look "no! okay! it's not."

"maybe you'll have fun." yuri said "good luck."

luna found minho waiting outside for her on a bench. she carefully made her way behind the bench. she waited a couple a seconds before she shouted and hit his shoulder. he jumped up off the bench and shouted. "oh my god. why would you do that?" he said as she laughed, making her way in front of the bench.

"cmon on let's go, minho." she said as she started to walk. he followed after her and they made their was to the front, where minho's driver was. they both got into the car, and minho told the driver where to go. when they got to their destination, they got out and started to walk around.

the street was crowded with people and many stores lined the road. luna had never been here before, so she was amazed by it. minho looked at the girl and chuckled. "you've never been here before, huh?" he asked and she shook her head "come on let's go get food."

he took her to this smaller restaurant that felt really homey to luna. it felt like she stepped foot into someone's home. they got seated and started looking at the menu. "you know i never expected you to want to hang out with me outside of school without the boys here." she said making him look up from the menu.

"you know, i actually had a really great time hanging out with you this summer, even though it was like twice." minho admitted "you know, i don't think we "dislike" each other as much as we think. q says we have a lot in common, i think he's right." he smiled at her.

"maybe he is." she said smiling, and looked back down at her menu.
