"...Y/N....Y/N!" I groggily awoke to the feeling of a gentle prod in my side, and I looked over to see none other than Kafka. When I rose my head, my eyes were immediately met with a burn from the sunlight through the window; what time was it?! Before she could say a word, I quickly belted, "Kafka, don't tell me..." I was only met with a sigh. "I'm aware these beds are more comfortable then where you usually sleep, but please try to keep your schedule within a normal time." I couldn't even make a remark, as all that she stated was true. The beds in the underground were as thin as paper, and so all I could feel was the box spring underneath. Here however, the mattress was so thick, and the weighted blanket surely didn't help. "Well", Kafka ordered, "hurry up and get dressed. The other hunters are eager to meet you; it's not everyday we get a new member you know." "Yeah, yeah, I'm aware" I grumbled. While I wanted to say that it was too early for this, the clock in the corner of the room spoke otherwise; apparently, I had been sleeping for 12 hours?! Kafka quickly noticed the look of shock on my face, and let out a chuckle. "Well, I'll let you get to it. Meet me in the dining hall when you are finished getting situated."
As soon as the door gently closed, I started to get ready. I put on the assigned uniform, which consisted of a maroon skirt that was long and flowing in the back, but short in the front. The fabric had a smooth, satiny finish, and was adorned with white chiffon ruffles. The blouse was also made of satin, but instead it was white; it also had puffed, delicate sleeves whose cuffs hugged my wrists. I was shocked that already on my first day I would be getting such fancy adornments; I was aware that Kafka had a soft spot for me, but I didn't think she would pick out such a lavish uniform. Back in the underground, people would die to get their hands on these materials, as they go for so much down there. I was never poor, but the quality of living down there was never good for anyone. Well, not that it matters anyways I thought, since I'm no longer in that situation. I approached the door, and slowly opened it to reveal the gorgeous trim that decorated the hallways of the station; I was in awe. Just as I started to walk, I felt something crunch beneath my feet, and when I scanned the floor I noticed a folded, white sheet of paper. It read, 'Take two lefts to get to the dining area :)'
-Kafka
Swiftly following her directions, I strutted down the hallways and took two lefts, just as instructed; I knew I had to be at the end of my route when I saw the two large, french doors in front of me. Trying not to make much sound, I gently pushed the doors and squeezed in when there was just enough room. While walking over to sit at the table, I noticed something strange; Kafka only told me of two people in the Stellaron Hunters, which were her and Silver Wolf. So why was there a strange, black-haired man sitting with them at the end of the table? Whoever he is, I get the feeling Kafka isn't telling me the full story...
