Chapter Two- Envy and Vengeance

"Hey-!" You screamed at E/n. She just batted her eyelashes looking at you with devil eyes. Muichiro looked at you and got up to help you off the ground. "You okay n/n?" He asked as he lifted you into an embrace. You blushed a bit and replied, "yeah I'm okay.. thanks." You looked away and saw an empty desk in the back. 

"I'll go sit there... I guess.." You mumbled. Muichiro followed your gaze. "Alright.. Let's sit there." He said taking your hand and pulling you a long with him. You were surprised for a moment.. 'I thought he was going to sit with her... Oh well... Sucks to be her' you thought looking back at e/n who had shock and envy writen all over her face. You smirked.

Muichiro let you sit before he sat down. He didn't let go of your hand, not like you minded. His hand was soft and warm... You looked at your best friend, who was already staring at you...

"You have pretty eyes you know y/n?" Muichiro said a light blush dusted his face but he tried not to show it. You on the other hand couldn't help but blush.. You smiled and squeezed Mui's hand under the desk. " Your eyes are prettier.." You said. And it was the truth. You could get lost in his gaze. Not like you haven't.. 

Just then your homeroom teacher, Ms.Tamayo came in.

-Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing-

The bell rang as students started flooding the halls. Lunch break finally... You had managed to lose everyone in the croud after coming out of the library. Damn. You walked towards the cafeteria as someone tapped your shoulder. "Y/n?" Zenitsu asked. You looked at him, "Oh hey Zenitsu.. What's up?" You asked him, as you both walked together. "Nothing.. I was just wondering. Why did e/n push you today? During homeroom.." He asked, a curious look on his face. 

Oh... So people saw that.. ugh. I can't believe I'm going to lie for that brat.

"Oh.. I don't know..Maybe she just really wanted that seat.." You scowled with sarcasm. Zenitsu looked at you briefly and nodded, knowing you didn't want to talk about it. You both made small talk before reaching the cafeteria. You walked in as Nezuko waved you both over. 

"Guuuuuuys..... I diieeeed in math claaaaaasss...." Yuichiro whined as he hit his head on the table. "You have another math class again Yuichiro.." Tanjiro said looking at him with sympathy. Yuichiro's eyes widened. "Wait I do?!" He screamed as he took out his schedule out of his pocket and read through it. He groaned as he slammed his head on the table again. You try to contain your laughter as you patted Yuichiro on his head. 

"Guys the lunch actually tastes good..." Genya mumbled as he took another bite of his sandwich. Inosuke looked at him with suspicious eyes. As he took Genya's sandwich out of his hand and stuffed it into his mouth. "Inosuke!" Aoi screamed slapping the boy on his head. " What Ioa?... Or whatever your name is. I wanted to know for sure! That's all. " Inosuke said yelling with his mouth full. "Ew Inosuke.." Nezuko said, turning away from him and hitting her forehead. "NO! NEZUKOO DONT HURT YOURSELF!"  Zenitsu screeched as he latched onto Nezuko, almost knocking over Kanao's food. Who looked at him with a scowl on her face. "Zenitsu you have two seconds to get off her." Kanao said holding up her fingers. "One.... Tw-" "FiNEEeeEe.." Zenitsu whined as he returned back to his own plate of food. Kanao smiled as she looked at you.

" Y/n? Why didn't you start eating yet." Kanao asked.. You looked up and thought for a moment. You were too engulfed in what was happening you forgot how hungry you were. "Oh right-" You said looking at your food and picked up the sandwich to start eating. Muichiro, who was right beside you looked at his food with disgust, and stuck his tongue out. "Y/n..?" He asked tilting his head to your side a bit. "Yeah Mui?" You asked stuffing your face with the sandwich. It was good. "Do you like the sandwich? If you do you can take mine as well." He said handing the sandwich to you. " What why? Hey you have to eat something.um... here." You said as you passed him the apple and noodles on your plate. He hummed in response. And smiled... "Thank you.." you smiled back.. 

Little did you know the devil beside you two looked at you with so much envy... She was planning something.. definitely something to ruin your life.. but you didn't notice it.. not yet..
