Chapter Fifteen- Tries and Lies

Before everyone came to the mall. E/n called the group to her house. To show something very important apparently. So they all met up in her room. Excluding Inosuke and the twins of course.

"Why are we here again E/n?" Nezuko asked. "Yeah what's going on?" Tanjiro continued, holding Kanao's hand. Those two officially started dating yesterday. Kanao and Aoi stood beside E/n, who was holding a pendrive in her hand. "I made something. Take a look." She turned on her computer and opened a video file. After everyone crowded around her, she pressed play.

On the video.

(E/n is sitting on her bed with her hair messed up, as if she was crying)

E/n speaking- "Hello everyone.. It's me, E/n E/L/N... If you're wondering why I'm presenting a video today... Well let me tell you it's for a very important reason. 

You all know Y/n L/n. The girl who bullied me because she thought I stole her friends. I didn't steal them.. You see. It's kinda sad that this is how I tell this story. Well, Y/n had been receiving a lot of comments about her body and I tried to help her. I suggested some tips and exercising methods. I dont think she liked it very much. I mean, I don't think she likes me very much. She's been jealous of me since the beginning. Nobody knows this but.. The day Y/n took me into her circle of friends, she made me swear not to tell something to anyone. She threatened me that if I did, she would make rumors about me to the whole school.

The thing is, she had a big crush on one of the twins. Muichiro Tokito infact. And well, I can't say I didn't have one too. She found out about that and told me that if I ever tried to make him fall in love with me. She would do something really bad. She made me swear that I wouldn't become his girlfriend and if I did. She would hurt me in many physical ways. 

I was really scared. But luckily I have a recording. I knew something like this would happen when I'm let into a group of friends. Cause I'm usually left out all the time. Mostly because of my looks. So i feel really bad about it. I'm happy now though. Cause I can finally speak freely about this. And now you will all know the truth. Especially those who thought Y/n was innocent. 

Sadly.. I'm saying this after the twins switched sides. They fell into Y/n's trap of lies. I can't blame them. They know her for longer than they know me. But imagine all that time they wasted by being friends with a manipulator like her. You know.... It's really sad. But I hope this recording changes your mind."

(The screen turns black and you can hear and audio with captions on screen) 

E/n- Thank you so much for letting me into your group Y/n! It means a lot to me becau-

Y/n- Shut up.

E/n- H-huh?

Y/n- Your voice is so fckn annoying. So stfu. And also... I wouldn't be so happy if I were you.

E/n- W-What do you mean?

Y/n- I know you like him.

E/n- What? W-Who?

Y/n- Don't play dumb with me! I know you like Muichiro! But guess what? You can never have him. Cause he's mine!

E/n- Huh... But he... Why are you doing this?

Y/n- I'm only letting you into this group so that I can keep a close eye on you. Dont you dare try to become his girlfriend or else.... I'll personally see through that your life is a living hell.

(The video ends with a loud smack and E/n screaming)

 Your group p.o.v

"Woah. wtf..." Sabito exclaimed, his eyes wide. "But- That sounds exactly like Y/n! Wait how?-" Makomo asked before you interrupted her, "I swear I never said anything like that!" You said, panicked that your friends would believe the video. "Well no shit Sherlock. You don't even speak like that." Yuichiro remarked, as he sat down and started to search something on the computer. "It sounds to cocky to be Y/n but it sounds exactly like her..." Senjuro stated. Just then Genya and Inosuke appeared. "I see you've watched the video." Genya spoke, as he saw everyone frantic. Inosuke couldn't care less as he started to eat the chips that were on the platter. 

"How did she copy Y/n's (my) voice?"  You all asked in sync. 

"How else?..." Genya glanced at you and then at the rest of your friends before continuing. "E/n payed someone to voice clone her."

"Voice clone?" Senjuro asked, bewildered by the fact that E/n had the brains and money to do that. "Wouldn't that? But- omg..." You fumed, putting your hand to your head. "But why even make this in the first place? Like why'd she have to go through all that trouble. She could just say something and everyone would fall on her feet." Makomo remarked, trying to clean up the mess Inosuke made after eating the chips. 

"ISN'T IT OBVIOUS YOU STOOPIDS!" Inosuke grumbled. Yuichiro and Sabito looked at eachother briefly and nodded. "She might be able to convince a few idiots with a sob story...." Yuichiro started. "But to convince a whole school and staff..." Sabito continued. Everyone's eyes widened with realisation. You spoke,

"Oh fuck."

"I'm going to play it before the crowning ceremony." E/n exclaimed. The room was silent, when suddenly Nezuko spoke up. "E/n....? Why didn't you tell us this before? That she told all this to you?" E/n's smile droped, "I didn't want to feel pathetic. Plus you would believe her cause you've been with her longer." Zenitsu wiped his eyes as he pulled Tanjiro into a hug. "I can't believe we were so blind..." Tanjiro said sadly. 

'Gullible bishes' <--------- E/n's mind voice. 

"Yeah well... Sometimes... It happens.. and it's ok. Cause now everyone will know the truth!" E/n bounced and latched her arms around Kanao and Aoi. The group smiled at her as she beamed. 

"So are you with me?" E/n asked.

The group looked around at eachother. 

"Hell yeah we are!"

"Oh guys. Should I keep the pendrive with me or leave it here?" E/n asked. "I think you should leave it. Cause you might loose it you know," Kanao said. E/n nodded and put the pendrive in her desk drawer. "C'mon let's go shopping nowwwww!" Nezuko exclaimed, linking her hands with E/n and Aoi, as she led them out of the room. Kanao, Nezuko and Zenitsu followed. 

Genya looked out of the hall and around the room to check if anyone's watching, as he swiftly  opened the drawer and took out the pendrive. He smiled to himself.

"Two can play this game."
