Chapter Five- Bestie or not?

You and your two new friends walked over to a table near the window. It was raining so you couldn't see anything outside but you, Makomo and Sabito started to relive your childhood days by playing 'raindrop race'. (Basically seeing which raindrop reaches the bottom of the window first.) You guys made the game a bit more fun by getting something on each drop.

"Ha! I win! Give me your chips now y/n!" Sabito said laughing wickedly. "Awww..." You said sadly, passing over some of your chips to the boy. "Hey Sabito. If you win against me I'll give my cupcake to you. But if I win you have to give y/n her chips back!" Makomo said pointing at her cupcake. "Oh your on! That raindrop is mine!" Sabito said pointing to one. "Then that's mine.." Makomo said looking out at the window. You cheered for Makomo as he droplet started to go down fast. But then it merged with another droplet causing it to pause for a few moments, letting Sabito's droplet win. "Aaaand I win again! Oh how I love myself sometimes.." Sabito said kissing his hand. You and Makomo looked at eachother and giggled. 

"You can keep the cupcake.. It's okay.. I just wanted to win... But I'm still taking the chips! Sorry y/n.." Sabito said as he stuffed his face with the chips you gave him. Makomo just shook her head and cut her cupcake in half as she gave a piece to you. "Thanks!" You said to her and took a bite of the cupcake. "Hey y/n? I was wondering what your schedule was.. So we know what classes you're in with us." Sabito asked as he took a bite out of his sandwich. "Ooh um let's see.." You took out your phone and opened your gallery. As you did you saw pictures of you and Muichiro pop up. You quickly tried to hide it but the other two saw it already. "Are you and him dating?" Makomo asked as she pointed to the picture on your phone. "U-uh no.... We're just best friends. We were best friends... Till she came..." You mumbled. Makomo and Sabito looked at eachother briefly before Makomo patted your shoulder. "It's oki! We understand. The twins are pretty popular here so obviously your friendship with the twins would make other girls jealous." Makomo said as she hugged you. "Well... Jealousy is one thing. Lying is way different. That brat over there has serious mental issues. Trust me." You said, rolling your eyes as you mentioned e/n. "Right well nobody cares about her anyways. I mean like has anybody actually seen how she acts. She's all like 'HeeeeEeeEeEeyYyy YoU tHiNk I'm PrEtTy?... Welll AWWW ThAnk YoU SwEeTiE... I kNoW I'm preTtY yOu dIdNt NEED to sAy SooOooOOooooo....' Like literally gurl.... Have you seen yourself in the mirror lately? Or ever...." Sabito said as he mocked E/n with crazy hand movements. 

All of you burst out with laughter, Makomo choking on her cupcake a bit. Soon then first bell rang signalling that class were going to start again. You got up from the table and told the other two you were going to wash your hands. As you walked you sensed something was wrong. You turned around just in time to see E/n and your group come up to the table you were at.

Group's p.o.v

"Look at her.... She looks like she's never been happier." Yuichiro whispered to no one in particular as he looked at you from their table. Muichiro stole a glance as he watched you pass your chips to another boy. His blood boiled seeing that. 'Who is he...' Muichiro thought as jealousy clouded over him. 

He didn't like it... Not one bit. Months of not talking to you, not hearing your voice, not spending time with you. It hurt him so much. He wanted to talk to you. He wanted to hold you close again. He wanted to be the boy next to you, laughing with you as you both watched the droplets fall together. He wanted all that but no one would let him. 

Yuichiro didn't let him talk to you. He said that you would just hurt him the way you hurt e/n. But both Muichiro and Yuichiro knew you would never do that. 'Then why?.... Why can't I talk to her again...' Muichiro thought as he started at you from across the cafeteria. 

Just then E/n exclaimed loudly about how much Y/n had hurt her today. "She tried to make me trip and fall! Oh I thought I was going to break one of my bones or something!" She whined, as she clutched onto Muichiro.

Muichiro got annoyed but even if he tried to push her away, she wouldn't budge. He sighed as he went back to eating his lunch. He looked back at you and watched you talk to the boy and girl at your table. "Who is he..." He asked Tanjiro. Tanjiro followed Muichiro's gaze to the table you were at. "Oh.. I think I know him! He sits behind me in biology class. I think his name is Sabito or something." Tanjiro said as Genya nodded. "He sits with me in Geography. He acts like Yuichiro does just a bit more like i don't know... A mix of Yuichiro and Mr.Uzui... That's how he acts." Genya said. Muichiro nodded as he watched you and your new friends break out into fits of laughter. 

Muichiro had to suppress a smile as he saw you laughing. It was his favorite sound in the world. The only thing that could make him smile with no effort. He started to have an odd feeling in his chest as he saw you. It felt like someone trapped a sparrow in there or something. His emotions were out of control for a second as he saw you laughing but laughing with another boy. 

Yuichiro looked at him as he looked back. As if his brother could read his eyes, Yuichiro's eyes widened and then relaxed. He looked at you and then at Muichiro again. He nodded as he went back to eating. 

Muichiro was confused. Did his brother understand his feeling more than he himself had. Maybe... He should just ask him later. 

"Hey guys look!... Y/n is leaving.." Zenitsu said, pointing at you walking away. "Now's our chance! Let's go!" Nezuko said, as she got up. E/n smiled and took Aoi's hand and led the group towards your new friends. Muichiro stayed a bit back with Yuichiro who looked at him and then pointed towards the back of the group. "What do you know?" Muichiro asked Yuichiro who just kept staring at him. Yuichiro replied.  

"You like Y/n... don't you?"

Everyone's p.o.v

"Hey! Sorry for disturbing but we just wanted to tell you to be careful.. About y/n!" E/n explained to Sabito and Makomo. The two looked at eachother with shocked expressions and then turned back to the group. "Why?" Makomo asked, putting her chin in her hands as she leaned on the table. "She is manipulative! And she hurts everyone! That's what happened to us... You see Y/n hit E/n and-" Aoi was saying before Sabito cut her off. 

"We know what happened to her for Gods sake... Honestly, I thought Dora was the blindest person, that is until I saw all of you. Like seriously, how can you dumb heads believe this girl over your best friend?" Sabito told them with irritation in his voice.  "Now listen here you-" Tanjiro was saying before E/n interrupted him. "Oh I'm sorry if you two don't believe me! I don't know what Y/n might have told you to make you think like that! But she did hit me! They all saw the mark!" E/n said with tears in her eyes. Before anyone could speak another voice came.

"Don't you think thats enough lying for a while? I didn't hit you or scold you or do anything to you except for let you into our damn group. Just for you to kick me out of it!" You said as you stormed towards all of them. Makomo and Sabito beamed at you, whil the others were furious.

"Y/n! Who's lying me or you? I was just trying to help you from all those rumors!-" E/n began before you cut her off saying, "Oh you mean the rumors YOU started! I'll tell you what. You can keep those fake lies and stuff them up in you through whatever hole you want cause I'm DONE! With ALL of YOU!" 

You screamed before shoving E/n towards the ground. Tanjiro and Nezuko came in front of her. "Y/N! YOU MONSTER!" Nezuko screamed at you with tears in her eyes. You glanced at her and rolled your eyes. "I've been called worse... Trust me.." You said as you took Makomo and Sabito by their hands. "Oh really? Like what?" Kanao said with her nerves popping out a bit. Just when Muichiro and Yuichiro stepped in, to see you and the two beside you leaving. 

You side eyed her and everyone else in your 'group'. You glanced at Muichiro and met his gaze. His eyes looked so foreign to you now. You didn't like it. But you knew you couldn't do anything else know as you sighed before replying.

"Your best friend..."
