Boise, Idaho.
Of all the things he could have done today. Read, go for a run, play video games, he had to look for a girl.
"So hold on a sec, who are we looking for and why?"
Jacob gave an exasperated sigh. "Her name is Reyna Smith, and we're looking for her because she's like us."
"Do you know what kind of gift she has?" Kai asked.
"I heard that she has the power to control snow and ice."
The red head the his hands up in the air. "Great my polar opposite, we'll get along just fine."
The older boy rolled his eyes and turned a corner on the side walk. Both walked in silence until they reached their destination. It turned at the girl they were looking for was at a mall. The Crescent Moon mall to be exact. Kai couldn't help but gag a bit, he really didn't like to go to malls much. On the other hand, Jacob didn't mind, he just wanted to get the mission done.
"Do you know what she looks like?" Kai asked.
"Jonathan said look for a girl with platinum blonde hair with a blue streak in it.
The younger boy nodded.
Shouldn't be to hard, right?
Well he was wrong, did anyone have any idea how many blondes he saw? The boys walked all over the place, into shops, restaurants, Kai even almost walked into the girls bathroom. That was probably the most embarrassing moment of his life.
After another hour of looking they went to the food court and got some tacos.
"Its been two hours and surprise, surprise, nothing!" The redhead nearly yelled.
"Oh calm down we still have to check a couple more stores." Jacob told him.
A couple more? This girl was going to have them there all day. How do they even know if she's still at the mall? She could have left hours ago.
Since the redhead finished his lunch he decided to look around a little more, but didn't leave the table. So far he counted ten blondes, just not the one they were looking for. Then, just when Kai was about to give up, there she was. He leaned over and tapped his friends shoulder.
"Jacob, I think I found her."
"Serious, where?"
Kai pointed in the direction towards the girl. "Ten'o clock."
He looked in the direction and it was true, a girl with platinum blonde hair with a blue streak.
"That's so her."
"So how do we approach her without freaking her out?" Kai took a drink of his sprite.
Jacob grinned."Easy, you'll talk to her."
The boy spit his drink out and coughed. "Excuse me?!"
"You're going to charm her with your words, Romeo."
Oh lord help me.
"What are you so worried about?" The brunette asked, "You just have to set the mood." He then wiggled his eyebrows.
Kai stood up. "Okay I'm going just stop all... that." He gestured to his friends face.
All the older boy could do was laugh at the younger one. As Jacob watched his friend walk over he noticed something else. Something that would really stop their plans. Walking directly towards the two teens was a guy around 20 years old. He wore a white shirt, black vest, and black jeans. His eyes were grey and his hair was the same, but with green streaks.
