Chapter 4

Before they left, Angelica put a good amount of water on top of the cabin so the flames would die down a bit. They buried Jonathan, said their goodbyes, and piled into Angelica's car. Reyna said she knew a place the could all stay. During the ride Angelica didn't even bother putting on any music. 'It is way too quiet in here, I wish I could do something to lighten the mood.' Jacob thought. Reyna told the  older girl the directions and that was the only time anyone really talked. He had to say something, "Hey guys I know everything seems bad right now but things will get better." Jacob turned to the back seat and the younger teens both had small smiles.

"Thanks Jacob." Kai said.

"No problem, you are my best friend."

Once they arrived at their destination  they found themselves in front of a normal town home. They piled out of the car and followed the platinum blonde inside the house. Closing the door when everyone was in she called, "Mom, dad? I'm home."

"Wait this is your house?" Angelica whispered.

"Yeah, but I guess my parents aren't home yet." 

"You sure they're okay with us staying here?"

"Don't worry it'll be fine."

Each of the teens took a seat on the one couch in the living room. The platinum blonde began to give them instructions. "So there are two showers, one upstairs and one on this floor. Everyone take a shower, get changed, and meet back here."

Both of the boys decided that the girls should go first (since they were such gentlemen). Though the real reason was because they needed to talk. Reyna took the upstairs shower while Angelica took the one on the first floor. Jacob and Kai were left in the living room, alone.

"So about what Johnathan said," The light brunette started. "you gonna keep your word to that?"

"Of course I am." The red head answered, giving his friend a serious look.

Jacob leaned all the way back on the couch. "What's the plan from here then?"

Kai was about to give him an answer yet hesitated. "We should take a shower first and then talk to Snowflake and Raindrop about it."

The eighteen year old let out a chuckle, remembering when he and Kai gave Angelica that nickname. Also remembering when he first gave Reyna hers.

After about ten minutes Reyna and Angelica got out of the showers, the blonde went to her room and sent her new friend to change in her parents room. Then Jacob and Kai took their places in the showers.  Once they were ready, everyone met up in the living room. Reyna had a Purple T-shirt and light blue sweats, the other three had to wear the clothes they had on earlier since they didn't have anything else.

Kai began to explain what their next move was. "First thing's first, we're going to find my little sister."

Jacob raised his hand. "Can I just ask, how old is your sister?"

"She's about two years younger than me." He then continued. "After we find her we need to find another girl named Pandora, Jonathan told me that the two of them could help us against the Apollyons."

"Alright, where do we start?" Angelica questioned.

"My sister and I were born in New York, so lets start there."

When the group finished discussing the plan, Jacob and Angelica directed themselves to the kitchen to find something to eat. Reyna and Kai remained in the living room together. Kai pulled out a picture from his pocket, he gestured for Reyna to sit next to him. When she sat closer, she looked at the picture closely, in it was a family in the park together. The mother had red hair and green eyes, and she wore a yellow sundress. The father had black hair and brown eyes, he wore a white polo shirt and black shorts. Then there were two little toddlers, the little boy looked just like Kai, and wore a blue shirt with a football on it and blue shorts. The little girl had black hair with blonde bangs put in a little pony tail, she wore a blue dress to match the boy. He was holding the girl as if he was teaching her to walk.
