Chapter 3

The morning came quickly, much to everyone's disgust. Everybody had a hard time getting out of bed, including Angelica, who's usually the first one up. Kai got up and went to the kitchen to make himself a cup of hot chocolate. The only person that was in the kitchen was Jonathan. 

"Good morning Kai." He greeted.

"Good morning sir." The sixteen year old looked around."Where's Angelica?"

"She's not up yet." 

"Really? That's odd, anyways I'm gonna make some hot chocolate, do you want some?"

The man shook his head."That's alright I have coffee." 

As Kai began to make his drink a certain eighteen year old came in. 

"Kai smiled."Hey Jake."

"Hey Kai." Jacob rubbed his eyes."Wait, where's Angelica?"

"Still asleep, odd huh?"

"Very, good morning Jonathan."

"Morning Jacob."

"Jake," Kai called."Do you want some hot chocolate?"

"Yeah sure, you should probably make some for the girls too."

In a couple of minutes four cups of hot chocolate were ready. The boys and Jonathan were sitting at the table enjoying their drinks. Eventually Reyna walked in with Angelica trailing behind. They sat down next to each other at the table. 

"Well good morning sleeping beauties." Jacob said.

Both had a small smile and said hi at the same time. Kai came over and handed the two a cup of hot chocolate. At first they all sat in silence until Reyna asked,"Where's my mom?" 

"She went into town for a bit." The man answered.

Jacob took a drink of his hot chocolate then asked,"What happened Angie? You're usually the first one up."

She shrugged."I'm not sure, I guess I'm just tired from the events of this last week."

"We really have been busy." The redhead agreed.

"So guys what's the plan for today." The eighteen year old girl asked.

The lighter brunette answered,"I think we're gonna do some training with our powers."

"Wait how are we going to do that? I mean like where do we practice?" The blonde asked.

"Don't worry we just go into a clearing in the woods and practice there." 

"And it's 11:00 so you better grab something to eat and get going." Jonathan told them.

They all replied by saying yes sir and got their food. It took about thirty minutes for them to eat then they went into their rooms to get ready for their training. Though it was kind of hard getting everyone out. The girls went into the bathroom to do their hair, but the boys needed to brush their teeth. The girls just laughed and told them they would have to wait. It even went to the extent that Kai thought he should tell Jonathan to add another bathroom. Finally, after what seemed like hours, they set off to their training area. 

It was really a beautiful area, though it was practically just a big field, no trees were in the way, the grass wasn't long, and the sky was clear. Jacob, being the oldest, took charge and led them into a little warm up. The teens did some stretches and ran a lap around the field. The brunette then put people into groups, himself and Kai, and the girls were with each other. Each of them have to use their powers against the other. Whoever dropped to the ground and surrendered first loses. They got to their areas on different parts of the field and began. Each and everyone of them showing their talents.
